Free parking, kitchenette.
Location was deseiving and the stairs.
Good enough room, water pool, reasonable price, free Internet
A bit more far away from the old town that I understood from the site, but not drastic; if I knew from the site about the bus No.1 and its route, my stay would be easier.
I liked the staff ,the service, the location,in one word everything
clean, breakfast is good, standard and not too far from the city centre
The staff was friendly and attempted to answer my many questions. There are three things I particularly like about the hotel, apart from its reasonable rates: 1) free parking, 2) location in an interesting neighborhood with lots of ethnic restaurants and non-tourist spots, and 3) easy access to get in and out of town.
The bus service in front of the hotel has been rerouted and the local transit system does a horrible job of identifying the alternative route.
Friendliness of SOME staff, not the night attendant who was unwilling to do other than attending the front desk
the coolness of the breakfast room, very very impersonal!!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was basic, but fully met our needs. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the Old Quebec area. If you're looking for a suitable place on a budget, this is it!
Afternoon and evening receptionists were helpful. They adviced us to take the bus to get to the city center.
Hotel claims central location but is in fact 50 minutes (at least) away form the city center. We got a very small room, considering that we were a couple. In a very warm day, A/C didn't work, nor the bedside light. Poor breakfast. Overall, a bad experience
The staff were amazingly friendly and had everything ready for us when we checked in.
I was actually surprised of how accommodating and friendly were the staff considering that the review comments I had read were so negative. Price compared to quality was very reasonable. A perfect place for the budget mindful traveler. A good experience, over all.
I would indicate how far it is from Old Quebec City (15 minute drive, 45 minute walk). My impression from the hotel description was that we would be right in the downtown, old Quebec City area. Moreover, while I did not expect the breakfast to be any where near superb, adding fruits to the simple breakfast selection would ensure a balanced, nutritious one for everyone.
