The snorkelling and diving facilities. Friendly and helpful assistance from Michele.
They provide a gas stove, but no way to light it other than buying lighting equipment. The washing of the crockery is reliant on the previous customer's efforts.
People at front desk were nice and friendly. The view from the bar and restaurant terrace is spectacular. Easy access to beautiful private pebble beach to swim or go snorkelling. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Loved the pizza and calzone from the log oven!
I rented a bungallow that had no view of the sea (not explicit in bungallow description) and that had clearly seen better days. Bungallow cleanliness was not very good, sheets and towels were perfect though. Neither the Capri boat trip nor the evening party were good value for money. On the Capri tour they had to take us to the Blue Cave, but they didn't on the grounds that we would have to wait on the boat for about an hour, therefore, we were recommended to go on our own by land. To get there we had to take two buses and queue for more than an hour in the sun. The other option was to go with them on a private bus for an extra 20 euros!
Enough space in the bungalow, equiped kitchen
No warnings about medusas, I had to turn to doctor after swimming.
Nice quiet peaceful lication. Staff were very helpful. Would stay again.
Was a little cold the days we spent there. There were only three blankets, yet four of us stayed in the room.
The location was excellent. The hotel was pretty basic, but this is what was expected. The staff was very nice for the most part.
While I understand that it was a basic hotel, I was surprised to learn that they did not provide even a small amenity size bar of soap or any other amenities. We were forced to buy a bar of soap from the small shop at the hotel. There was also no hot water (or even warm water) for showering. Fortunately we were only staying one night and could go without.
the view from the balcony.
The bedrooms were small and difficult to move around in. only 2 loungers for 4 people
Beautifull tranquil environment compared to the rest of the peninsula. Friendly staff on the whole (female staff is a bit grumpy). Dving, good restaurants in the village.
Our first bungalow smelled of dirty water and there were quite a few ants. The second one was fine.
It was not a hotel, they did not clean our rooms during our stay, it was a great place for campers and divers, but as a hotel it was very bad
It was very close to the water, 100 meters away, this also makes it more difficult to get there. However, 1e bus ride per person from Sorrento if you get to town early enough and figure out the transportation system. The staff was kind and helpful and the food at the resturant was good. It is a great place to relax and is a true get away.
There was a hidden fee (tax) of 10e a night for the stay, whether you use the air or not (the weather was lovely and we did use the air conditioner, but we were still charged the fee). There is not alot of night life, you have to go to the city or make your own. The last bus leaving Sorrento was a hassle to catch, it is very costly if you plan to arrive late and miss this bus. Make sure you get a bus schedule from them before you ever get there. Don't take a taxi (80e), very costly mistake.
Everything. Admittedly we were out of season and it might have been different if the site was full, but we loved it. Staff were really friendly.
Bit surprised at the 5 euro per person per day tax but maybe we hadn't read the blurb carefully enough.
