The service of this place is AMAZING. It was in the perfect location and made being in a new city so simple. Anything you could possible need or want can be be handled by the riad. Also, it gives you access to amenities in 3 riads. Also, trying your cuisine in Riad Karmela and Princesse is a must.
the riad was a joy to return to after coming off the streets of the medina.the riad was very tranquil and a lovely environment
It was peaceful, nothing was too much trouble, staff very helpful, evening meal was lovely such a relaxed setting on the rooftop. Rooms were clean and beautifully designed.
The Riad El Nour (also the Riad Karmella) was out of this world. Admist all the bussle and narrow streets of the medina lies this gem. On entering our breaths were taken away - it truly is an oasis of calm and luxury. Everything from the helpful staff to the beautiful decor, the pet tortoise and the roof top jacuzzi make this truly the best holiday accommodation we have ever stayed in
The riad was easy to find, which is very important in the souks, and on a quiet back street. The design was nice in the courtyard areas with lounge seating and fountains. The dinner was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good but simple.
Yes, the manager was quite rude and short with us when we pointed out that he had made a mistake. We told him that morning we would like a dinner reservation. When we showed up later to confirm he started ranting about how he never knows what his guests want to do and he wasn't sure we wanted the reservation. He sent us to La Mamounia for drinks...the hotel is not open to nonguests on the weekend so it was a total waste of time and then we weren't able to get dinner reservations anywhere until 9:30 and at a place we had already been. When you only have 3 nights in a city, to have one night messed up like this is a total bummer. Worst part is the manager tried to almost blame us and not accept responsibility for his mistake.Noisy.Bad massage
I've stayed at many Hotels throughout the world but never have I been treated so politely and with such professionalism. Riad El Nour is absolutely perfect for visiting Marrakech, close to all amenities and very close to El Efna Square. Approaching the Riad you'll wonder where on earth you are going as it is situated down a narrow dark alleyway, typical of Marrakech.Knock on the door of Riad Karmela (sister of El Nour) to 'check-in; it’s almost directly opposite El Nour and you’ll find it opens up into one of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen. Allow Joel the owner to organise your transport and book your meals with him, you won't regret it. If you do nothing else when visiting Marrakech please stay at Riad El Nour or Riad Karmela.
a great retreat from the high octane sellers of Marrakech. Fantastic atmosphere at the Riad. were upgraded to suite our group and the owner was great.
smells coming up from the shower and toilet. a trap would have solved it. Not a problem, considering the smells in Marakech.
We'd like to thank Joelle and the crew for the attention and preocupation of doing everything that was possible to offer us such a pleasant stay in Marrakech.
An immaculate riad, beautifully furnished. A fantastic place to relax in, loved the pool on the roof terrace during the day. A great position to explore the nearby souks and square. Already planning the next trip.
The tranquility amidst the madness of marrakesh
The riad was a calm oasis in the middle of crazy medina. Staying here made our visit more enjoyable. Abdullah who worked at the riad was lovely and made sure everything was fine for us. The meal we had at the riad was excellent. Having dinner in the courtyard was a special experience.
