They had a vacancy, close to skiing and powder conditions
The entire place needs to be refreshed
Location
Not getting attitude when we asked for help regarding items in our room not working, cleanliness (mold in bathroom, broken shower faucet, spackled walls unpainted, piles of dirty laundry in the hall, filthy carpet, bad odor). There was a complete lack of snow removal resulting in the front door not fully shutting & the exit from the underground parking causing many cars to get stuck. The breakfast offered was dry cereal & coffee orange juice.
Bed bugs in the room
Woke up to find a bed bug in the sheets
Terrible hotel and service!!!
Nothing to like!!!! I don’t normally write reviews, but I needed to for this place, to save anyone else from staying there, don’t stay here, you will regret it!
It was absolutely terrible, the room was disgusting, outlets didn’t work, shower/tub had a hole in it, lights didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work. Really bad!!!
Nothing
I won’t go back again!
Worst dump in the Sierras
I didn't like anything but the location.
The moldy tub, nasty carpet, intermittent hot water, terrible breakfast, empty hot tub, crazy loud air conditioner, missing smoke alarms, musty smells, giant hole in ceiling where the bathroom fan goes and to top it off the broken fridge that ruined our snacks. The worst.! Would rather stay in my car in a blizzard.
I guess we got what we paid for
Location
Soooo dirty and the bed sink into a giant hole in the middle. The staff were non-existent and the "amenities" listed online (sauna, pool, jacuzzi) weren't there. The breakfast was poor quality and the whole place smelled. The garage had a ton of lights that were out so it was dark and rapey. I mean, it was a cheap rare, so we got what we paid for, but we travel A LOT and this was one of the worst places we've ever stayed.
Horrible. Do not stay here.
Only good thing was location.
First room had a massive leak and there was water everywhere. Second room was alright but we had to move to another room due to the room being "reserved for someone else". The final room we ended up in after being moved rooms twice had a non-functioning television which was great for the kids (sarcasm). The coffee pot in the room did not work, and the hair dryer went out after about 15 seconds of use. The worst part though was that the pipes backed up and the sink filled with poop filled toilet water. When we told them what happened they brought a plunger in and splashed the poop water all over the counter then just wiped it off with a rag when I told them not to worry about it because we were trying to get the kids asleep and we were leaving in the morning anyway. I was too grossed out watching the poop water being splashed all over the counter. To top it off they wouldn't switch us rooms because all others were "reserved". We ended up not using the bathroom on the last night and day due to extremely unsanitary conditions.
Good location.
Not very well maintained. Old. Bathroom door did not close. Noisy
Old, old, OLD!!! The toilet ran all night and flushed it's self every 15 minutes or so, made me sad since we are in a drought!!! The outside does not look like the pictures... we were not told that there was a sauna/hot tub or game-room.... so those pictures should not be included if they are not available. My fault to assume there was an elevator.. upon check-in I asked for a ground floor room and he practically laughed at me. Not ADA friendly. Was worried they were going to charge us for things that were already broken in the room after check-out =[ Glad it was only a 1 night stop on our way to Lake Tahoe.
Horrible experience
Only positive thing is the location, close to Mammoth Lakes
DON'T STAY HERE, and SAVE YOURSELF FROM FACING INSULT AND RACISM. Very dirty, run down place, no elevator. Had to carry luggage up two floors through narrow stairs. Rooms were pretty small, bathroom door did not lock, towels had stains on them, blankets had multiple tears and holes.. No one in front desk at night.. Breakfast was awful. Most importantly the Manager and his wife were so rude and unprofessional. While we were checking in, the manager made snide remarks about another customer who just stepped out after checking out. Later, the Manager's wife insulted our friend, when we protested she said "This is America and I am American, so I can say what ever I want". We were really shocked to see her level of racism !!
Time to refurb
Very run down inside and out. Tub leaked all night, light switches had to be jiggled to work. Cleaning crew tried their best with what they had. A tidy shambles.
Outside needs paint, inside needs paint, plumbing, and electrical. Room door electrical lock missing replaced with ram shackle key lock and metal plate that made opening door difficult.
The manager was very friendly and helpful...he really made us feel welcome, especially after the long drive we had to get there. The continental breakfast was excellent. A very enjoyable two night stay.
Although clean and comfortable, we felt that it could do with updating, as it is beginning to look a bit tired.
