Hotel was under construction...smell in room/lobby was overwhelming ( maybe cleaner???Air freshener??... indoor pool was drained...hotel going through renovations.
Everything. This is not a safe place for anyone to stay. Appears to be inhabited by drug users. Debris everywhere. Doors not equipped with functioning locks. Pool and spa have not been in operation for several months; although, they try to imply otherwise. See reviews from previous guests. The room we chose to book online was not available on arrival. In fact, they stated that specific type of room has not been in existence for a couple of years. The toilet was literally set up out of place basically touching the sink and counter area. There is not enough room for a larger person to squeeze between the counter and toilet to allow them to even brush their teeth
Dont do it!
Parking, breakfast, old cube tv, pool closed, hot tub empty,
Don’t be fooled by the pictures
The only good thing was the staff worked quickly to fix all the problems.
Pool/ hot tub down the whole week, no fridge, no pot for the coffee maker, no plug for the tub, bathroom was dirty and still had an empty toilet paper roll left under the sink. Someone was smoking pot the whole week and it smelled like a skunk was loose in the hallway every morning. The room was old and out dated, plug were falling out of the wall sockets. Horrible breakfast!
Television in the room was broken.
When we checked in, we noticed two uniformed police officers talking to a man in his car in the parking lot next to where we parked our uhaul and car in a trailer. We were told by one officer to take EVERYTHING of value from both vehicles because it wasn't a good neighborhood of hotel. That was alarming. After completing the task, we got in the room to find that the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold and starting to come down over the shower. My girl didn't feel safe so we packed up after 10 minutes and went to check out. While walking back into the lobby, two DIFFERENT officers were escorting a man out of the hotel for reasons unknown to me. Would not suggest to ANYONE passing through Amarillo. Go find the Holiday Inn Expresss 5 mins down the road. BEAUTIFUL HOTEL.
Indoor pool, breakfast included
No TV remote and no assistance when requested, cheap mattress, our car was broken into and items stolen. Hotel said there was nothing they could do.
Very cool unique design. Clean comfortable room.
They had a nice breakfast and the pool was fun
They had a nice breakfast and the pool was fun but the hotel smelt really bad of smoke we had to be moved twice because the locks to the rooms didn't work the staff was nice but she was overwhelmed because we weren't the only people she had to move it was I little bit of a mess but maybe it was just one of those crazy days.. it was in a good area and very affordable the smoke smell was the only major complaint other then that it was ok
Rooms smelled of mildew.
It was peaceful and quiet
The halls smelt like sewer
this is a terrible place to stay
Everything was dirty. My coffee pot was broken, bathroom sink was broken and door knob on the bathroom door was broken off. Asked the front desk to break a twenty four the vending machine and all she said "no, I can't" There were kids running around at midnight. It was terrible.
