The personnel was incredibly nice and helpful, Hotel is not far away from being perfect, when compared to its price. Shuttle is very well organized if you do not need to return after 22:40. Otherwise not too far from Amalfi center but turning roads specific to countryside makes it longer. (hire the smallest car possible for this region) Hotel management is very friendly especially the guy watching the hotel at night is perfectly symphatic! Breakfast is a bit poor I have to say, but indeed all 3 star hotels are similar. Everything has a price. You may stay here instead of paying double even triple to Hotels near centre, and this way you may enjoy Amalfi not the Hotel.
Wireless was broken but they are going to install ethernet prises in each room soon - Good news! Just confirm before booking.
Terrific customer service and breakfast
Bathroom in single room is a bit small, but very clean
Hotel staff, rooms, food everything was amazing
Excellent service.Hotel staff very friendly always happy to help you.Flexable hours of meals-especialy breakfast.(from 7:30-10:00)Free shuttle bus down to Amalfi. When you are staying with children(which not always like adults menu) reception staff will happly order pizza from the local pizzeria.Hotel is organizing trips to Pompei and Capri.
We were familly of 5(two adults and three teenage children) in a very small room. But on family holiday in area like Amalfi you only stay in room at night.
Doria Amalfi is a nice and clean hotel. It has superb views and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle service into the centre of Amalfi is also very helpful. We also had drinks across the road in their bar which is nice and newly decorated and also has fantastic views.I would recommend this hotel as the staff are lovely and very helpful it is clean and very well presented but I would recommend staying somewhere closer to town if you are only in Amalfi for 1 night.
We felt that the hotel was over priced for what it was. We paid 100 euros per night and only one of the rooms had a view. It is right on the main road so noisy with the buses during the day but it was quiet at night. The hotel itself is not in Amalfi town and you need to take the free shuttle service or local buses to get down and back.
Virtually new hotel with magnificent views over the Amalfi coast. Good food, friendly staff. Everything in the hotel was as new. Bus into Amalfi town (15 min. journey) stops right outside the hotel.
They operate a free hotel car service into Amalfi mornings and evenings, but on one occasion the car failed to turn up to take us back to the hotel. That was our only complaint about the hotel. The new shower unit in our room was fine for us skinny people, but a large person could have trouble getting inside!
Nice view. Good service.
Little bit noisy. Had problems with the AC.
The owners are extreemly nice and accomodating and they have a car that they take you into town and pick you up.
I like the stay in Doria Amalfi, very much indeed, and I consider seriously to come back soon.
Me and my wife, can't find anything, we didn't like. We found in the hotel, two people with a giant heart. First, Luiza from the reception, and Jovani the waiter, who us also the shofer, the maintenance man, and any other thing which us needed to be done
