Though the hotel itself was fine, many people would be put off by the extremely scruffy area.
It is small and comfortable and the staff very kind, so the stay was quiet and pleasant.

There was no lounge, breakfast varied so that one day there was yoghourt and jam and the next day there was neither. There was a restaurant which was expensive and there was nowhere nearby to have a cheaper meal.
Although our French is limited this did not stop us from communicating(eventually)with Jean-Etienne,and we had some fun ordering our meals,and asking for directions.Quiet area in September,it suited us.
Close to the main highway, nice and very relaxing.
