Dark dingy room
Location is great
My room was dark and uninspiring. Bathroom was older than dirt. Don’t take a room on level 4.
Simple, this is not a typical Hilton Hotel. 3-3.5 Stat at best.
This is a party hotel where people come to spend a night in the city. Rooms very noisy, plain and lacking in style or ambiance. 1st room had a dividing door and we could hear every word that was spoken. We moved rooms. 10.30 at night a party started in the room next door of that room. We called down to reception. The hotel staff knocked on the door many times before they were noticed by the party going on inside! We cannot express how disappointed we were. We will never stay in another Hilton as standard is not guaranteed.
The renovation excellent great room facilities
The renovation of the ground floor and noise
Excellent location and very convenient acess to numerous restaurants. Also easy access to business offices.
I loved the location, service & comfort of the hotel. I was a great experience.
the fact the i was unable to change my booking even though when i came into confirm it was two nights, no one corrected me and said it was only one. Then i got an email from the hilton saying it was only one night. and i was unable to get 2 nights, and couldnt afford to pay for another one so was stranded in adelaide with no where to stay
particularly liked the buffet breakfast, which was one of the best we have had, and service was excellent
The staff were very helpful and friendly, also full buffet breakfast was supplied which was a lovely extra. There was an excellent selection of movies on the movie channel, though the price was a little bit steep. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and comfortable, we will definately stay again.
I like the hotels location, the service provided by the staff and the standard of the rooms.
Close to where we needed to be
Skanky toenails on floor of our room, kettle didn't work 9had to hold button down for it to boil), elevators refused to go to floor level even using room card (at one stage we were stuck in there), wind howled through the window that we couldn't shut properly all night, & they bought us someone elses car when we went to leave! Oh and they "upgraded us" when we arrived. I'm sure this meant there was a double booking.
The room was comfortable, and had a good desk and work lamp, something I consider particularly important. All aspects of my stay were handled efficiently and without fuss. The conference facilities were good, if a little cramped.
The hotel was excellent value for what I paid. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is excellent, as is the service in the hotel. The location is also great.
