1* youth hostel - not for the over 40's. Students running around at 5.50AM. No night staff controlling noise.
Close to the tram-station
It was very basic.
There's nothing to do in the hotel.
Wasn't immediately hassled for money (however, had to pay by cash as credit card machine was out of order). Could come and go with ease. Found the staff OK - unlike led to expect from reviews; found another website with more accurate reviews and so didn't have high expectations of hotel. Marvelled with amusement at how such a small room could look so big in the photos! Was more central than expected so easy walking. Nearby restaurants.
Noise. The window didn't shut properly and so it was noisy - especially one morning with tree shredding happening outside at 7.30am. Suggest taking earplugs. Mould on walls - though expected that though from reviews. Very small room. Stairs very narrow and steep. Partner complained of back ache from sagging mattress. Price was OK-ish though
not being in the hotel
everything, the rooms we were given were awful, staff were rude and not very helpful, it was disgusting.
People were very helpful except at breakfast
Bathroom was tiny tiny tiny.
Breakfast was very nice... the room was small but cozy... we only had to sleep there. The area was beautiful - a little hard to find at first - take a good map! Watch out for all the bilkes :-)!
We were so tired when we got there and our room was on the third floor - kinda scary steep steps. The lady at the desk was a little gruff - but we had no problems.
Hotel located in quiet street. Staff was really friendly.
Room was a little bit small.
breakfast. There was not enough choice of food.
Very helpful staff, peacefull neighbourhood, clean room every day
Very small bathroom
