The location was right for our needs.
This is an older hotel in need of renovations and a good cleaning. Room carpet and furniture a bit dirty, not due to housekeeping, just age - everything was sticky. Bathroom was stained and dirty as well. Would not stay here again. Staff was very good - friendly and professional - except for valet who could not be found....he was not getting another car, cell phone and soda in a hidden corner, Sorry - now that it has been purchased, maybe it will get the much needed renovation.
The view from my room (717) was amazing. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I was attending a symposium at Drexel, so this hotel was within walking distance which was nice.
The hallways needed updating. The carpets were stained and needed replacing. Also the elevators, although there were 6, were frustrating. I arrived exhausted from my flight at around 10pm. All of the elevators were not moving but stopped on high level floors. There were 25+ people waiting and it look 3 elevators until I was able to get on, which took about 5 minutes or so. I was just ready to get to my room and to see 3 elevators not moving but on high level floors and having to wait for one to fill and dispatch before being able to signal for the next...and then again because the second was full... I just wish they were programmed to have 2-3 always programmed to return to the lobby. In a hotel that size there will always be guests in the lobby wanting to go to rooms
Lobby looked nice
I booked a room with a king size bed and received a room with two double beds which was not ideal for it just being me and my girlfriend. They told me valet parking would be cheaper then parking in the garage across the street and I am glad I checked because valet for two days would have costed me roughly 100 dollars and at the garage I paid 44. There was a band aid in the bathroom but other then that the room seemed to be cleaned okay. But there was no fridge and WiFi was 15 dollars a day.... honestly better off staying at a hotel that’s a little more expensive but comes with free parking and WiFi.
Great location at affordable price
Location convenient to Art Museum, Franklin Institute and City Hall. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Checkout extended until 1pm upon request. Very affordable.
Room was clean and comfortable, but carpet and room in general was well worn. No safe in room.
Bad staff, outdated rooms
Out of date
Out of date deco No parking
Decent value, a bit tired.
Comfy room, friendly staff, great location. Hot showers. Fitness center was better than expected.
You can sense corporate sending management brusque memos about controlling costs. Everywhere you look are the little signs of cheaping out: poor wallpaper repairs in the bathroom, door handles with paint on them because they didn’t mask, etc. Parking was $50, but the lot across the street was $7. No included breakfast... all the little signs that they are trying to squeeze as much $ out of the property as possible while spending as little as they can.
Great location to city center tourist attractions . Had a very enjoyable stay. Staff very helpful and professional.
Most of the TV channels did not work in Room 1429.
Room was ready on time
Not the room I payed for.
Friendly staff, the deal through kayak was worth it
Beds were not that comfortable, paid wifi, no mini fridge or microwave or safe.
Close to Art Museum and good restaurants.
My wife and I prepaid for a king room and upon check-in (at 4pm) was told no kings were left and they only had doubles remaining. The woman checking me in was not apologetic or particularly concerned (and made no offer to rectify the situation) that I wasn't getting what I paid for and had a take it or leave it attitude. There were 15 people in line behind me, so I chose not to protest and accepted the room offered me.
Worst customer service in universe
Requested 1pm check out. Confirmed late check out on arrival. House keeping came in my room at 9am. I yelled at her for waking me up early. She left and at 10 the manager called the room to apologize. That's great but she woke me up again. I think she is mentally challenged or has zero clue about anything related to common sense
The rooms are really good
central location in walking distance of major attractions
closeness to convention center and to restaurants
needs some restoration of the lobby and work out facilities, in general hotel is functional.
Proximity to convention center.
The delay in check and it stated that booking.com did not send my information. This created a 1hr delay, the kitchen was closed due to the delay in check in process which was not my fault. The room was less than average and reeked to cigar/tobacco smoke. This cause an a severe allergic reaction and I had to go to my meeting with red eyes and a headache and runny nose. The location of the room bad.
The location of the hotel to all center city attractions was very good.
Close to downtown; nice room for the value.
The room was really clean and nice looking. Great location.
The price, downtown Philadelphia is really expensive if your saying in a hotel..
The beds were very comfortable.
The pillows were filthy. I brought this to the Assist Mgr of Guest Services attention. He gave us a voucher for a free meal.
