Airport shuttle problems
Clean, nice desk staff.
When I picked up my luggage I called the hotel to find out where I should stand for a shuttle pickup, I was told they would send someone right away. 20 minutes later I called because the shuttle had not arrived. They said someone was right there. I called 10 minutes later, again they said someone was right there. They finally showed up over 30 minutes after my first call. Had I originally been told it was going to take that much time, I would have gladly paid for a taxi to go the 1.5 miles to the hotel. After a long day of travel delays, a late night arrival, this additional wait was frustrating.
Quick and easy stay by the airport
Our shuttle showed up the second we walked out of the airport. From then on it was easy breezy: quick check in, slick room, clean pool, friendly staff, great stay!
Not much for food selection on-site and the coffee options were limited.

water temperature in sink and shower was set to near boiling with no way to adjust it; showering wasn't possible with it so hot as it burned our skin. SPG discount of 5% for booking wasn't applied to our account since we booked through third-party (only because SPG made our account inactive and required us to call customer service to restore); faucet was covered in orange mold; shower window was covered in black mildew / mold. sad that Marriott is now merging with SPG as we have status with Marriott & wanted to check out an SPG hotel, such as the Aloft. Had a horrible experience with SPG so far.
Horrible customer experience
I was charged even though I called and cancelled immediately. The hotel manager has not called me back and I still have not received a refund even though I did not stay there.
Bad check in experience
Rooms were clean.
Did not get the room I paid for because they sold out of rooms that said where available online. I understand things like that happen but I was not apologized to for the inconvenience and was felt to feel like it was my fault for using a third party website. Had I either gotten the room I paid for or was apologized to i would have given a higher rating.

The vibe is fun and the atmosphere was hip and fun.
The bed was hard . The tv didn't work properly . The pool was dirty. Breakfast was horrible.
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
There seemed to be several parties being held in the building. It was extremely loud with children and adults who didn't seem to settled down until after 2 am. Also there was a lot of banging on the walls.
Good stay at Aloft
Comfortable bed, clean room, even though near the airport, the room was quite, no noise from the airplanes.
