Beds were comfortable and rooms were very accessible.
Air conditioners should be regular checked and maintained given how hot Bakersfield gets in the summer. After loading in all of our luggage the temperature in the room kept rising. Eventually it got near 80 degrees and we asked to move rooms. The last thing we wanted to do was load up all of our bags again while tired and sweaty. We also noticed in our first room that we both were getting extremely itchy while laying in our beds and that it went away after we moved rooms.
Bed was either too broken in or simply way too soft. It lacked support and we both woke up with achy backs.
There is no elevator. You have to haul all bags up stairs which is such a pain while traveling.
The bed is comfortable. The pillows are great. Bathroom is verry clean!! The staff on night shift was really nice and accommodating.
The facility needs a face lift badly. The bistro needs physical help.
Very nice facilities
I have tried for 3 weeks to get item left behind returned. After 5 phone calls and numerous promises I have still been unsuccessful. The facilities may be nice, but this is what will be remembered.
Tired hotel...good staff
Hotel staff helpful, courteous, pleasant.. Nice bed.
Couldn't turn fan off in bath, noisy refrigerator, Rooms are worn, stained carpet, smelled very chemical, trying to eliminate old odors. Pool not heated.
Really nice hotel with beautiful pool and fabulous
Very accommodating staff and clean rooms, very close to any kind of shopping you could possibly want all kinds of food etcetera.
The carpets in our room we were fairly nasty, and no complimentary breakfast.
Bistro closed at 9:00 pm on Saturday night and poo
Nothing really. Location not particularly close to anything except close to my Sister's home which is why I would come to Bakersfield. No other redeeming qualities.
Bistro advertised as open at various late times on literature but no earlier than 10:00 pm so I figured I was safe to call room service at 9:10 pm but it was closed at 9:00 pm. I had to drive to get food for tired kids and wife ... and I was tired also. Pretty shabby, dirty and poor service at check-in.
Restaurant is in other building
