Try somewhere else first.
I liked the fact kayak had such a good deal on the place. Probably because it was off season and that's the way things go.
The three inch spider that lived under the sink in a hole in the wall where the plumbing came through. It made two appearances and twice got away from being captured and relocated, due to a newer buddhist philosophy of no killing, otherwise my bronx mentally would have smashed it good. Secondly, the staff was showing fatigue at what must have been a rough season. No effort by the bartenders was made to make our one drink experience at the beachfront bar memorable. Granted is was mid evening, we were the only two patrons and, it may have been closing in a short while. But, give us straws with the, thai versions to daqueries, however you spell that, if they are needed. Don't wait til i have rounded, the rather short in length, bar to offer me a 'sorry, can i get that for you'. Too late buddy, if i have already picked them out of the case. Lastly, because of it's secluded-ish location, a scooter, or perhaps taxi's, are needed to go anywhere else where the excitment would be during season. That's only becasue the roads are scary enough on the scooters or taxi's that you would not want to be walking them in the evening. Enjoy Koh Chang, just not from this resort.
