The rooms and the beds were a reasonable size.
The showers were too cramped and used nylon curtains as a screen, which only wrapped themselves around you while showering. There was no real security - the main entrance was by a back door, which was always open, and there was seldom a member of staff around to monitor who came and went. Though the beds were made daily, there was no attempt at cleaning the rooms during our 8 day stay.
Good quality/price ratio, personnel helpfull
Contrarary to information website, no internet available
The room was adequate for a nights stay.
Not very tidy, especially when entering the hotel at the back.
It was the right place at the right time. We were impressed with the welcome by the Chef and the friendliness of the owner.
A friendly attitude from staff to landlord, and a stunning quality of excellence from the room to the menu and food. The private carpark was large and an asset.
Off the beaten track and very quiet. Well appointed bedroom and dining area. a very pleasant change from the 'corporate image'of the major chains of hotels. Host was very friendly, accomodating and interesting to talk to. Very helpful with local knowledge, particularly with parking in Norwich.
Very good food
The staff were very friendly and actually stayed up to book me in as my flight and travel were delayed, the room was comfortable and kept very clean and tidy daily, clean linen and bedding, overall I enjoyed my stay there, being a small hotel I was not expecting the same services you would normally find in larger hotel chains, but I was pleasently surprised, there was even a wireless internet connection available, very happy and will stay there next time I visit Norwich.
None everything was fine
Very friendly relaxed atmosphere.
Would have liked the choice of brown/wholemeal toast at breakfast.
