Coming and going!
It was just fine for an overnight stay, on the way to and from SD from WI. The reviews had me scared but it was worth the risk. It might of not been the Hilton but it was affordable and clean.
It was inexpensive and the staff was awesome and accomodating ..the breakfast was awesome lots of variety
The didnt really having parking for large vehicles with trailers but we were able work out a good solution
The hotel was moderately clean and staff was friendly.
No elevator or luggage carts, had to lug everything up a flight of stairs. Indoor pool very small with half a dozen chairs around perimeter.
For the money this hotel had everything we needed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The Desk clerk gave us a call after we had time to settle in, and asked if everything was OK. I would definitely stay here again.
The area was quiet, and the room featured both a microwave and a small fridge, which is a nice feature in this class of accommodations.
The building's design means you have doors on both ends of your room: one from the interior and one from the exterior. This unfortunately leads to noise on both sides, as the interior corridors are not well sound-proofed, and as other patrons leave for the day from the parking lot. Rooms at the end of the interior corridor are likely to hear patrons coming in and out at night from the exterior entrance, which is not secured by keycard. Although the Guesthouse website advertises "100% Non Smoking Hotel" prominently on its website (as of June 23rd, 2014), our room definitely smelled of smoke. The curtains had many pinholes (moth-eaten or cigarette burns?) on them which became evident in the daylight. The bed cover at the foot of each bed was noticeably dirty. We would not stay here again. We had a very busy schedule all weekend and otherwise would have left after the first night.
The exterior is a little sketchy and is super deceptive. The hotel on the inside is very clean and not what you would expect when looking at the outside of the hotel.
