Prompt and customer-oriented service. Thank you to counter staff for arranging the seat change. I thought I had confirmed the seating during web-checkin but was told that there was no history of confirming the seats in the system.
A change of snack for to and fro journey would be good.
I was surprised that they provided meal for less than 1.5 hour flight. The fare was very affordable for only a few extra hours waiting in Taipei. Very happy with their service. I will definitely use China Airlines again.

Warm service from check-in to destination. Counter staff arranged, without hesitation, upon my casual asking if could change to window seating and she did it with a smile (though I've web-checked in already).

I liked where I seat that was very much appreciated. Its nice to have delightful meal and having bottle of water in seat pocket was a nice thought. Boarding was excelent. It was called section by section.

What I don’t like is always late in boarding... But having said never be late in arrival. Always arrived in time ..

Boarding at Singapore airport was shocking, as we had to wait 6 hours for our flight. Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be.

Food on board wasn’t nice at all. The quality of food should be improved and China Southern should take it seriously.
We took China Southern from Sydney to Guangzhou few weeks ago , the crew was rude, very bad services, but when we come back from Guangzhou to Sydney yesterday, same airline, Crew was excellent. can't understand why so much different in two different days.

Wonderful staff. We had a problem with our entertainment system and so they upgraded us to first class. Felt really valued.
One of crew lady was very rude. Lunch was bed , but movies were great!
