They canceled our flights but they flew anyway.
缺點： "KLM lost my suitcase and did not deliver it until three days later... They refused to compensate me for having delivered the bag with broken articles inside (A pair of Rayban Wayfarers!)"

缺點： "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

優點： "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

優點： "The customer service phone number was impossible to get through on in order to take to someone within 24 hours of my flight in order to make my Special Meals request as I have Celiac's Disease. I was unable to make this selection at booking as when you book through a third party like Expedia, which I did, you cannot access the same internal tools required to make that selection. You can ONLY then call once you have checked in before the flight in order to let the airline know of your Special Meal needs. This is not only a terrible policy as it undercuts those who ARE ultimately still buying tickets to their airline, and that the airline is CHOOSING to sell. It provided me with an extremely subpar experience of the airline but left up to the last minute with doubts about my ability to board a 13 he international flight without the reassurance that I would have ANY meals aboard and no other options should that be the case. Right before my flight departed I was reassured that the information we had requested Expedia relay to the airline internally the day before, who we called when we couldn't get through to the airline, WAS able to convey this Special Meal request and I was going to have food on the flight, so I then did not purchase a bunch of snacks in the airport to have as options. The first meal in, no Special Meal was provided and I had to explain then entire situation all over again. They assured me they would figure it out and get me taken care of. However, no one who assisted me conveyed this to anyone else on the flight and every time food was dispersed, same situation. This was stressful and exhausting and the options provided me were modified to be gluten free, such as an entire plate of fruit for my snack, instead of the protein heavy snack everyone else received, because there truly wasn't extra for that type of dietary restriction. This was stressful and I was very hungry on the flight. One of the attendants got me a few chunks of cheese from first class, but otherwise, it wasn't great. I would advise travelers with Special Meal requests NOT to fly with AirCanada."

Upon arrival in Vancouver we were paged to baggage claim and informed that our bags were taken off the plane and would arrive later in the night. Problem was, we were leaving on a cruise at 4:30PM. Our bags had two cruise luggage tags on each bag. When our bags were delivered to us 2.5 days later in Ketchikan, Alaska - The cruise tags had been torn off our bags. There were a minimum of 8 vacant seats and corresponding luggage not on this plane. I believe Air Canada had a chance to load more cargo and removed our luggage to make more room for the cargo. I will never fly this airline again. I had nothing good to say to anyone on our cruise regarding this airline. Terrible passenger service. The guest services said that 16 bags were delivered in Ketchikan from Air Canada."

She was like a parent or a teacher telling her kids to share but not solving their problem over the head bin. Then before we were landing, the passenger next to me asked for her help to put her bag into the head bin because she’s not tall enough. Karen said she’s doing security check and never came back. I managed to help my neighbor passenger before landing and was very impressed to this flight attendant."

缺點： "i booked the flight in january and keyed in my passport expiration date several times online in the next several months...at the airport, i handed the air canada agent in miami my passport and she booked me and a checked bag through toronto to copenhagen...i went to board my connecting flight in toronto and was told my passport, which expires at the end of august, was no good as i needed to have 3 month left...so they refused to let me board and told me to go see customer service...so i go stand in line for several hours (was only one agent for the first 45 minutes and 10 people in front of me)...one woman going down the line to see what each person's issue was told me that it was my problem, not AC's...and that "we are only responsible for making sure your passport is valid for getting into canada"...i was on my own to find a hotel and a new flight...fortunately a supervisor saw me standing in a daze several minutes later and said that it was AC's mistake for not catching it in miami...so she booked me into a hotel, gave me the address to the US consulate and instructions on how to get an emergency passport...she said that it would be no problem as "this happens all the time"and went ahead and booked me on the next day's flight...so i was able to spend the next day getting the new passport and getting back to the airport to fly out that night, but i lost a day in copenhagen with my family...it seems to me that when flights are booked and passport info, including expiration date, are given, a simple cross check of dates would be easy, and, imho, incumbent upon the carrier taking you there, especially when "it happens all the time"...this was not done on 4 occasions between booking and my trip...there were other issues too which is why i will never fly air canada again and i will never travel though toronto...the return trip through that airport was a nightmare for many passengers."

Had outlets to charge but did not work or very slow to charge phones, no wifi available even to buy, flight attendants are young and inexperienced in handling questions about challenges. No entertainment on flights which I did not know until after my first flight to Venice with no entertainment (iPads were all rented out) or Wifi available for over eight hours. Bathrooms are old and several bathrooms did not have brighter lighting after you lock door."

缺點： "The fact that because I was late for my flight, my reservation was cancelled. I was not given the opportunity to change my flight at all, I just lost out on the return portion of my travel. I would have been willing to pay a fee to change my return, but not given the opportunity. Had I booked directly with the airline, they would have had no problem making a change. Buyer beware!!! If you don't book directly with an airline, you may suffer the same fate as me! This was an almost $1,300 dollar learning experience. Do not use third party online booking agents! You do not have the same protections as dealing with the airlines directly."

If they had helped me with the bag it would not have needed to be checked in and there was certainly no need to be rude about it"
缺點： "I find it very strange that you have to pay extra to ship a bag. Air Canada advertises that all fees are included in their fares. However you are getting hit at the back end after you make your booking. Just about everyone travels with a bag to ship. After having to Leave fort Mcmurray due to loosing our home we had to pay an extra fee to ship three bags. It does not do much for the image of Air Canada be a leader in the industry and be up front all the way."
