優點： "The staff of ANA took superb care of us from the moment we entered the airport (both SEA and NRT); kindness, excellent food (choose the seafood diet, the food is excellent and you get served first!) and helpful directions in English whenever we looked the slightest bit confused. I will always look to fly ANA going forward. oh, and comfortable economy seats; enough room (I am 6'2") and no numb bum."

缺點： "It was difficult to understand English announcements on board. Also there wasn’t adequate instructions in Vietnamese. Majority of passengers are Vietnamese family with small children. My suggestion is that instructions in Vietnamese should be made more often to avoid chaos particularly when deplane."

They passed everyone so when the gate door opened everyone were trying to get to the gate and there was no order. That was stupid to say the least. Turkish could have waited the couple of minutes needed to get the gate open!!! and save the hassle!"

The LONG lines (crowds is a better word), makes the connection in Istanbul completely unacceptable."

Turkish airlines put us crammed in a window and middle seat for a 9 hour flight. It was absolutely un-doable. Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

Seats were incredibly tight for a ten hour flight. Loved the movie/show selection and the food was on the better end of any airline food I've had."

She came out several times from inside of the building shouting at the three of us to get on the shuttle even when the person managing the shuttle flow at the bottom of the stairs was about to let us wait for the next shuttle. What was her problem(?) - she could use a lot more people skills and realize who pays her salary - the customers. She really tarnished the whole image and impression I originally had of TA. Also, there was no way to go to the bathroom without going through a long line of security again at the last gate before the shuttle which did not make sense."

(I am not used to being a priority passenger!) Once my documents were cleared and my carry-on was inspected at the gate, it was not clear whether to take a seat or to go somewhere else."

Had doubts about using Turkish and a little less expensive ticket turned out to be the most expensive in many ways. Went to the gate 17 minutes early and the agents and the plane was there but was refused entry and was lied and told to go to gate 215 and missed the flight even though there were empty seats on the plane. Asked for help at the other gate but was given the run around and ignored by everyone and told to go to gate 214. After I went to gate 214 was told to go to customer service lower level. Turkish airline supervisor Mustafa Bogaz at Istanbul customer service held a grudge because I was upset and yelled at one of the supervisors and he told Mustafa and everyone not to help me and wanted to get back at me and said penalty in front of me to the customer service member I was speaking with. Mustafa lied and would not put me on a connecting flight and said I had to pay penalty and wait 24 hours. Told me to go to customer service outside the airport and would not call them after I told him I was ready to pay for a connecting flight and could not wait 24 hours and needed to go to work. Even though an American citizen was told needed a visa after waiting 1 hour in line and had to pay to exit the airport. The machine didn't work and the credit card was refused. Got stuck at the airport for 24 hours and missed work and a family event. Turkey is a hell hole and nothing works. Will never visit again. Mustafa 6 hours later was still holding a grudge and told another customer service member in Turkish in front of me to lie to me and say there was no emergency aisle seat available for the flight the next day. Got an emergency aisle seat the next morning when Mustafa wasn't there. Everyone in the customer service team including other supervisors took Mustafa's side and would not help me and lied. Everyone had no compassion and held a grudge."
優點： "It's been few years that I took Turkish Airline flight, but the service and crew and the aircraft were top notch. It felt like Virgin Atlantics flight and better. I flew with my 3 yo and the stuff kept spoiling him with goodie bags. On the way there (it was overnight flight) I'll give it 5 out of 5 and on the way back - it was a bit cold on the flight, it might be just me, however. The food also seemed better on the way to Turkey; on the way back I found myself hungry more often and the food was not as good (day flight). Excellent, will definitely fly again, just for the service and the experience!!"

(but do they share my disgust?) Oh to fly, to find a cab to drive in the big city."

We drove to the plane and waited for 15 minutes in the cramped shuttle while they were putting another staircase to the plane and finishing prepping it. We left a half an hour late and the flight was already at 10pm. It was a pretty terrible experience! And the section of the Istanbul airport we were in was pretty dirty. Also the movie they played had two language options but no English which was disappointing."
