I like the location. Close to many shops and restaurants
The building is pretty old and the downpour from the rain that day was all over the stairs.
proximity to restaurants
ants in the bathroom and main room
Pricey for a crappy place
Nothing at all.
Receptionist lied and said we would be charged even if we cancel the room, ended up staying at the marina motel across the street, way better room with kitchen and couch + room for cheaper than what la luna was asking for.
Advertise King bed, but was only a queen. Continental breakfast was horrible, why even bother. Otherwise it felt like a budget hotel even when we were "upgraded" to a deluxe room. Maybe places in the city just aren't great value, although I've stayed at a nicer place for a better price in the Tender Loin, even though that area is one I'd never spend time in again.
Value for money - bad
Location is ok
Expensive for what you get Shower is disgusting Room is ok- but not with the price
Great price the bed was comfortable.
Small but clean with great staff
Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The location is good and they have free parking.
The hotel is right on a busy street so you get street noise but just turn on the air unit and it's enough white noise to take car of it. The room is small but has all you need.
Easy parking for SF
Works great when you are visiting the marina or the palace of fine arts. Great location for lots of SF activities. It is on Lombard street so it is a bit noisy but not bad for the price
Noisy, needs renovating.
Nice location. Relatively cozy. Their breakfast was more of a snack, but hey, it was free.
The walls/ceilings are way too thin. It sounded like we had a heard of rhinoceroses above us. Luckily there were no bed bugs, but it seems at one time there was because of old bed bug stains on the sheets.
The car hire failed so the hotel staff very very helpful in getting to our next location.
busy road all night.
Close to markets and restaurants on Chesnutt street, as well as the Fine Arts Palace.
too expensive for quality
The man on the front desk tried to be as helpful as he could be. I also liked that we had parking right there at the hotel for free.
My complaint may not be to the hotel. We had made a reservation for two queen beds on line and when we arrived the room only had one queen bed. I was traveling with a lady friend of mine and fortunately we had roomed together often before so we just said oh well and bunked together.
the room was a nice big size, and it's also great that there is free parking!! big plus. Nice towels, nice bed and sheets....
it smelled a little strange when we first went in, but after we aired it out, was fine.
The hotel was very conveniently situated for what we wished to do during our stay.
Some of the other guests were very noisy , especially late at night, perhaps better soundproofing or notices asking for quiet after say, 10 p.m.
large clean rooms, value for money
rooms at the front have alot of traffic noise as its on route 101 through the city, need to get a bus (no.10) to city centre but only 1 block away and very safe and efficient, nice bars and restaurants only a couple of blocks away
lovely large room, comfortable bed, nice deak space, really really helpful staff that actually wanted you to enjoy your stay, about 30 mins walk to pier 39
one tiny point, it was a bit noisy as it was a motel style hotel, you could hear people outside your room and make sure you ask for a room at the back otherwise you will be on the main road!!
it was a great experience. beautiful location.
We were in SF for a sailing regatta held at St. Francis yacht Club which is within walking distance. Location was important.
With a stay at La Luna Inn, a C-Two Hotel in San Francisco (Marina District), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Palace of Fine Arts and Walt Disney Family Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
