Staff was great especially Anna. This is an excellent location with in walking distance to the River Walk and the Alamo.
Rooms were in the process of being updated.
Insects were crawling in the room the TV didnt work nor could it be fixed. The furniture is very old and when I asked for a different room I was told it would cost me an additional 20 dollars for a room with an additional bed cause no more of my rooms were available.
should be demolished
Worst/unsafe hotel EVER
This hotel was by far the dirtiest, unsafe hotel I have ever stayed in. The clerk was unprofessional and could care less. There was prostitutes, drug transactions and people hanging out in the parking lot, waiting for the next "john". I took a chair from the room, and sat by my vehicle with my firearm to protect it. There are 3 hotels with the same address and different names. I am going to contact Kayak to discuss thru photos provided which aren't even close. I wish I could attach pictures you this post to show you just how bad it was.
You get what you pay for, but it's still a ripoff
The only good thing was I didn't have to pay full price. This experience has taught me to pay more attention to reviews.
What we didn't like... mold on bathroom walls, shower curtain rod with no compression just placed so it fell when we opened the curtain, hot water leaking made the bathroom hot, loose toilet and toilet seat, toilet paper dispenser sliding out of wall when we tried to get toilet paper, cigarette burns on sheets, stains on chairs, bad patchwork on walls, garment rack/shelf had one of four screws stripped out of wall, I had to unplug the lamp so I could charge my phone. I really don't believe this place woul pass inspection. A few items I expected to see... hair dryer, tissue, coffee. But maybe it's all for the best. Then we went for our complimentary breakfast... Our choices? Which loaf of bread? What kind of jelly from the variety of open jars? And, how much juice from the jug?
My room was recently remodeled and was great!
Hotel in the midst of renovation
Location good Clean bed No bad smells
Bathroom filthy Carpet stained TV not working Breakfast horrible Coffee sucked
The convience of being close to downtown. The staff was very nice and helpful. There were restaurants within walking distance.
I had no refrigerator and no microwave. The breakfast wasn't good at all! The other front desk clerk didn't know anything.
Fine place to crash for a night
The staff was really friendly. The room wasn't anything fancy. Just the absolute basics, but I don't need much so it worked great for me. Pretty good price too!
The shower leaked the entire night. Didn't bother me since I am a heavy sleeper, but I could see it bothering others.
Dirty! Dirty! Avoid at all cost!
Dirtiest hotel I have ever been to. Hair on sheets, stains on carpets, bath room had dirt and mildew everywhere. Kept my shoes on during my entire stay and did not dare to take a shower. Breakfast consisted of dry cereal with two gallons of milk left out I refrigerated or on ice for you to use. What I thought was a decent rate, I over paid. Avoid at all cost or you will be very sorry. We checked in at 10:30 pm so It was too late to find another hotel.
Area wasn't amazing. Had some not so good encounters with people staying there. My card was charged three times for a one night stay that was supposed to be refunded. Still haven't gotten refunded for one charge.
