Bed was super nice and had a lot of space for our toddler to play
Nice quiet area.
It would have been nicer to have more restaurants options near the hotel.
Room was nice
Nowhere was there a warning the hotel was undergoing a major renovation. Very disappointed would be an understatement. Not worth the price.
not what they stated
Everything was closed for renovation. No food,no pools,no bar. Outdated air conditioner that didn't work and the room felt wet and smelled like mildew. Coffee pot didn't work, overall terrible.
Staff trying hard but...
The bed was very comfortable; housekeeping was generous w/towels & supplies, as I regularly slept in.
“Renovated” room had punch list items needing repair; TV had no guide so you can’t tell what channel or show you’re watching; lastly, saw roaches in bathroom area.
Staff all were wonderful. We liked the location.
Hotel was under construction. Had that been complted, it would have been all 5's.
Might stay again
The beds were comfortable, as well as the pillows. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. The lake view was great, and the breakfast was good, but get up early to take advantage.
There was a weird smell throughout the hotel, not bad, just weird. The windows were dirty, there was a crack in my bathtub, the AC units were old and mine had no filter. The first day we got there the keys would not open the door after the first use. We had to wait a long time for maintenance to come. When he arrived he realized there was nothing he could do, so the hotel upgraded us to a suite, which was very nice.
This hotel needs a renovation!
The room smelled funny like mold, the carpet and the sofa were very stained, the A/C is too noisy and the tv is outdated. The hotel needs a renovation.
I liked the breakfast and the fact that the hotel staff were quick when we needed to change rooms. The location wasn't too far from old St. Augustine and the lobby was nice.
There were employees that smoked near the entrance of the hotel. This made the entrance to the lobby smell like smoke. Also, our first room was not completely clean and also had a musty smokey smell. There was even a pair of shorts left by the couch. The rooms did not have updated appliances. The TV was still an old big box TV. We changed rooms and the room we got was a lot more clean and fresh.
Very out of date. Not worth the money paid. I was nervous to touch anything, due to cleanliness. You could taste the chemicals they used to clean with.
My oldest daughter and I stayed the night at your hotel and found it lovely! The room was spacious, the queen beds were so comfortable - best night's sleep I've had in months and months. The breakfast was tasty and filling. We are looking forward to staying there again and have already recommended it to the rest of our family. Hugs, Edwinna
