Good for a short stay
It's a 20 minute walk from the train station, 10 minute walk from the nearest metro and 20 minute walk from the Colosseum. Pretty much at a good location. The staff was generally kind and responsive. The hotel and its lobby looks pretty and accommodating. Our room was way bigger than we expected and it was overall a comfortable stay which is all that matters in the end.
I was not expecting much for the breakfast buffet offered but at least something hot and fresh was a must. Instead, the scrambled eggs were cold, the croissants looked a day or two old, the bread was also old, the milk was expired, and it was just pretty disappointing. There's a bar area but when I asked for a cup of cappuccino, they asked me to do it myself. However, when another guest asked for it, they made it without hesitation. For the room, you can definitely see that it is old. It takes forever for the water to sink down the sink. The shower is dirty but they do clean it on a daily basis. You can't expect much since the price is pretty cheap in comparison to others.
