An excellent location in 15' walking distance from Vaticano and 20 m from metro Lepanto, free WiFi, moderate accommodation rate and confortable room. I've stayed there 2 years ago and hope to come back again
This is not easy to find a hotel at the first time, information about it's location near the front door and it the patio is insufficient
The hotel was very nice and clean. But really the best part was that it is right beside a metro station which links you to all of the attractions. It was perfect for us. Affordable, convenient, and clean. :)
The only complaint that we had was that there was no air condioning and it was extremely hot.
A few steps to the metro station.
The water pressure is low and the bed is a bit smaller for two.
The Location to the Vatican.
The staff not able to answer simple request like "where is the nearest supermarket" etc. They had turned off the hot water by 9am on our first morning there and had to request it turned back on for showering.
It was nice to have a roof over our heads, but no recommendation from my side.
No change of sheets for 4 days! Change of towells just once. (second day)
Basic but comfortable. Good value. Friendly.
The staff were courteous and helpful withour questions. Happily made reservations to the Borghese Gallery for us. There was a refrigerator in the hall for all to use which was nice to have available for snacks at night after a long day of siteseeing. Right by the metro station, but pretty isolated otherwise. Bathroom in our room was big and clean. Gave us towels and extra pillows when requested.
Not having airconditioning was a big negative but they did supply a fan. Really set up like a boarding house in a residential/medical offices building. Really more for backpackers, but I would not really say this was a budget hotel because on the first of September, the room rate doubled for some reason from the rate we paid the last two days in August. The staff did not clean or make beds one day, but were very apologetic when I mentioned this and rectified it as much as they could at night. The location was a little isolated, in a very residential/professional office area, no close stores or restaurants.
Great value and excellent and friendly (English-speaking) service. If you are just looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to sleep that is in a quiet and safe part of Rome, right beside the Metro and a short walk to the river, and a fairly short walk to the Vatican, you can't go wrong. It's particularly good value for one person in a single room. The lack of a telephone in the room (in my room, anyway) might be an issue for business travellers but with mobile phones that may not matter. For families with mature children or who don't want to hang around in the hotel, the lack of facilities might not be an issue. There is no breakfast but Rome is full of places where you can buy an inexpensive coffee and croissant, etc. Elderly people or people with disabilities may find Rome heavy going. I don't know what to recommend as the best place to stay but if you choose to be near the Metro, you should check whether it has a lift. Lepanto doesn't. (See here: http://www.atac.roma.it/index.asp?p=109). You might find the buses and trams better at taking you nearer the sites you want to see. Directions from Ciampino: the cheapest way to get to central Rome is to take a 15 minute bus ride to Anagnina Metro station, then take the metro all the way to Lepanto. From Termini, it's a few stops away. When you emerge through the turnstiles within Lepanto Station, go straight down the corridor and take the last street exit on the left. Continue in the same direction when you emerge onto the street and its about two or three buildings along on your left, just past the fitness centre. There's no big sign but there is a plaque beside the intercom.

It was a nice location, in a safe part of the city. The metro was very close so it made it very easy to get around by bus or train. Rooms were nice and bathroom clean and decent size.
Hard to find at first because it is located on the third floor, but made me feel safe staying there.
Good, no complaints about the hotel itself. We had a nice and cute little room, everything was clean, there was hot water, nice neighbourhood, mainly residential so very quiet at night, and it was right of the metrostop so very very easy to find. Very good value for what we paid, i.e. 40 dollars for our own room with a french size bed. ( 120cm, a lot better to sleep in than the the 2 twin beds they seem to push together and use as doubles in all the other hotels we were in.) It was a very calm environment, and really quite nice!
The staff was unfortunately completely useless. The asian girl at the reception could not tell us about any places to eat in the neighbourhood or where to find internet cafés. When we checked online ourselves there were plenty of places, and 5 other people that we asked in the street were twice as helpful! I was amazed at how useless and unhelpful she was.
A stay at Pensione Paradise places you in the heart of Rome, within a 15-minute walk of Villa Borghese and Piazza del Popolo. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and an elevator. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
