Close to train station, decent breakfast for an Italian hotel. Good luggage storage.
There are two positive features of that hotel: price (relatively) low for this city and a good place to visit the city. It was also rather cleen.
However, there were some "details" that annoyed a lot: 1) awful coffee and orange juice and 3 additional euros for ham and cheese (didn't try), 2) not working internet, 3) not working vending machine with beverages (repaired after one day but there was no tee for the whole stay - is it that difficult to buy tee?), 4) one morning an alarm went on twice and there is a lot of noise from a corridor, 5) very small room and bathroom
We stayed at hotel pyramid for 6 days and we were satisfied of the conditions the hotel offered us for the price we paid. The room was daily cleaned, the staff was extremely nice and helpful, the location was ok, almost 10 minutes walking of the metro station. The bathroom was ok, and even though it was small, there was no problem in using the shower. The only thing that may be considered a minus for this hotel is the breakfrast which is basic and it is the same every morning. For a person who wants to visit Rome and uses the room hotel for sleeping and taking a shower and maybe for having dinner in the room, I would totally recommend this hotel.
Good, clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff in a convenient location for the city centre and the Nuova Fiera di Roma
Very noisy on Friday and Saturday night as it was next to a night club
The staff was amazing, very helpfull and kind
The hotel dosen't have lift so if you have more than one lugagge of it's too heavy maybe pyramid it's not your best choice
situated in a good part of rome
The room is very small, the toilette and shower is so small that you cannot shower. Only 2 towels for 2 persons. It was hot and you cannot control the air conditioned by yourself. You need to phone all the time the reception! Breakfast very basic.
Friendly staff. The evening front desk man was very friendly and informative. I found the room adequate and suited our needs. Good strong aircon. Though a little bit noisy for sleeping, but the room cooled down and it was fine to switch off. Good location as only about 5 mins walk to tube.
A little annoying having to disturb desk staff to call them as they operate the air con, esp. inthe middle of hte night. But htey were always helpful without any fuss. The breakfast is a joke. Yuck! Only consumable thing was milk! Unless you like sweet yucky croissants that run out before end of breakfast time. A decent brown bread role wouldnàt go a miss with a bit of butter at least, or a banana. Or cereal. The high heals one review on website mentioned are still clomping around for ages early every morning. Someone rushing about for work I suppose.
they forgot to do the wake up call one day
It is a small and clean little hotel. For the price we were very satisfied with what they provided. The breakfast is little but I would not like to complain about it after there is coffee, bread rolls, warmed plain and chocolate croissants. The train station indeed is rather 250-300m away from tht hotel (3-5Min walk) which is still very closed. Additionally, there are two busses running right to the most significant monumentals to twon from the hotel.
The night proter is a bit of a sleepy man.
Good local transports from the hotel also to the airport. Good information from the reception desk about transport and places to visit.
Appreciated the help and information provided by the man on the day we checked in for a tourist like me. Appreciate that the staff knew English. Generally the staff was helpful
Though the hotel was in a quite environment and near to the commercial area at the same time, people hanging in nearby places gives a little insecurity in late evenings.
