This is a great small hotel. The staff were very hosptiable and and informative regarding sightseeing tips and directions. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Location is excellent being near Colosseum, Forum, and ease of bus and metro stops.
All was good.

polite and friendly English speaking staff, nice single room, the room has a safe, good breakfast (excellent cappuccino), fairly good location within walking distance to major attractions (transport almost never used, just for a trip to a football match at the Olympic Stadium and the Vatican ), a quiet street outside the hotel in the evening, a good selection of inexpensive restaurants near the hotel (especially like to mention DoDo)
minor flaws which is not affected the overall positive impression: the water temperature in the shower is not very well regulated (I had to wait some time before the water reaches the desired temperature), towels are too thin, more like a sheet than bath towels, TV is blocked when switching to some channels
