Near metro, only 20 minutes to central Rome, within 25 minutes of Ciampino and for us, near family. In local area with loads shops and restaurants. Room modern and clean as was showeroom. Good value for a hotel not too far from central Rome.
We knew the area where the hotel was, so not an issue for us. You need to accept that there are no hotel services, the area is busy (metro noise, road noise etc), that Tuscolano has lots of graffiti (as does Rome), that finding the hotel may be difficult and that really you are staying in a room with a concierge type reception you will get what you pay for.
The man at the reception who was there every morning was very helpful. Also the location was good I guess, since the hotel was very near the train station taking you directly to the city center.
No breakfast (or breakfast room) whatsoever, the elevator was broken throughout our whole stay (we walked up three floors every day), somebody from the reception (the night shift) knocked on our door and woke us up at midnight, because he got the wrong room, and the rooms are tiny
Close to the Metro stations. Very helpful front staff. Recently refurbished and repainted.
Hidden, impossible to find. Need a bigger sign on the main road. Locate by street address. Also, no breakfast nor bar facilities (yet).
Only 3 minutes to metro (tube), lively street with shops and restaurants for breakfast and dinner, clean rooms.
There is no light above the mirror, it's harder to shave. Otherwise, we were happy.
The location is pretty far away from the Center, but the connection with the Metro is very good (just one block away)... So that's good. It is a nice looking building, but completely unpractical.... the pool is also still under construction.
The hotel is suppose to be finish..... but there're tubes coming out from the walls (and are even use to put the toilet paper on them...). Internet was a joke... you have to pay for it, is not available in the rooms and, more importantly, it never worked. No breakfast, not that you have to pay for it... no breakfast at all. To do the check out (at 8:30, not even that early for a hotel) the guy at the reception was completely asleep, with even a pillow on top of the desk. I had to pay on cash, or it would take him for ever to wake up and deal with my card........ The people cleaning the room systematically unplugged our computer.
Close to 2 Metro stations, close to CineGela gelateria, placs to buy food were nearby. And it was also quieter than I expected, considering via Tuscolana is a busy street.
Nothing major- there is still a feel of the outside area being under construction, but this was not a problem really.
the AC the the room was a bit faulty.
brand new, stylist and fresh. Pool though not fininshed eg no chairs
still very new, it lacked. little things like proper towels, lift no finished, more lighting
The room was modern ... that´s about it
Construction in the hotel and outside our window at 7am, no use of pool, AC didn´t work, etc...
Price
The air conditioning of my room never worked. The breakfast was too poor, is was a snack.
