Nice but not worth the price.
We chose Parco die Principi primarily for the location, which is right next to Borghese Park and close to some other principal sights in Rome (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., which were by the way mobbed, even in October.) The hotel is beautiful, the rooms very luxurious. We did not use any of the facilities.
For such a high-end hotel, we thought breakfast was very sparse, poor selections, nothing you wouldn't see at a hotel half the price. We were also not happy with the concierge service; they could not offer any advice on tours other than a single company, and were no help at all in arranging transportation to Civitavecchia, which I finally arranged on my own.
The Hotel is very well decorated and lightened. From the door the hotel stuff make you feel comfortable with a professional intimacy. The restaurant and SPA Center are both above standart. I dont know, maybe I was so happy that everything looked me marvelious. :)
No.
We stayed in a deluxe room and we loved it.
The wi-fi should be free, but we already knew it wasn't...
large, comfortable and very clean room, lovely linnens, friendly staff
Room design and balcony give comfort
Spa is excellent, though paying €8 for a swimming cap annoying in the extreme! Wearing it even more so. Proximity to Villa Borghese a real plus.
Nothing
This is a luxury hotel in a quiet neighborhood with a view of the Vatican and a professional staff.
This hotel has changed. No doorman most of the time does not make a 5 star hotel. Very coarse bed linens and flat pillows. No clock or radio in room, no candy left at turn down and no wine, Proseco or fruit upon arrival but prices are higher. No newspaper in English. This hotel seems to be fading out of favor by raising prices and reducing costs by eliminating the personal touches that were so prominent previously. We have referred many American travelers over the years to this hotel but no longer feel it is the special place that it once was.
Beautiful hotel with outdoor pool
Too far removed from most sightseeing areas. Will need to take Taxi or walk far to reach city center
The pool is a great feature of the hotel. Without it the hotel would sink a bit in esteem.
The roadside balconies, the construction that was ongoing.
quiet location,comfortable reception area,bedroom satisfactory,staff mostly helpful.
poor breakfast, not 5 star.Had changed booking dates, with cheaper rate for new dates-hotel attempted to charge more expensive rate.Overall felt overpriced for facilities, perhaps better during summer months when pool and gardens open.
Quality of Accommodation
Disappointed pool was closed but understand it was due to anticipated weather conditions
