Cost of room. Outside door of hotel is tram to Termini and all points.
The area is very Asian, and dirty. No good restaurants. Should take Metro one or two stops for good eating. Do not walk around this area at night and watch your wallet during day. Not near any good attractions.
The staff was wonderful and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
The location is rough at night, not bad during the day but not a great part of Rome.
Very friendly and helpfull staff
Very good welcome with a full explication of the sites to visit and the methods of transport to move around the city. Rooms recently redone, clean and everything works well, quite quiet with the exception of in all older buildings limited sound insulation internally. Breakfast was excellent, hams, cheeze and all you could require. Would definately reccomend as the owners clearly are looking to continually improve and please their customers.
The entrance hall is a little bit 'off putting' but should be redone in the next months/year.
Clean room, friendly owners
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, especially if you compare with the average in Italy. Spotless room and bathroom. Excellent value for money.
The reception is located in the second floor giving access to the rooms, making it a bit difficult to find the hotel quickly. However the manager is about to move it to the ground floor.
A stay at Hotel Principe Eugenio places you in the heart of Rome, within a 15-minute walk of Via Marsala and Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
