The hotel was clean, room and bathroom in good shape (I guess that what counts) and breakfast was decent. The location is 10-15 minutes away from the city center and 7-minute walk to the train station.
We arrived after 9 pm, staff during the night does not speak a word of English and those during the day struggle with the language. a couple of times we asked for hot water in the evening: one time staff member did not understand what we asked, the second time we were rejected. Loud noise from next door construction adjacent to the hotel property (Sep 2010). While not a hotel's fault, be prepared to be woken up at 7 am with loud construction noises. We visited 5 cities in Italy on a budget, this was our least favorably experience in a hotel. We are not demanding clients, nor picky, we went to Italy to explore the country, not stay in the room or eat breakfast. Maybe it was the circumstances, or maybe we got lucky that way...
Reception staff and cleaning staff very friendly and efficient. Location as good as it could be if you require regular access to both the main town and the railway station. Hotel situated in quiet backstreet but area feels safe even late at night
Hotel is over priced. Breakfast is adequate but no more. Management were uncommunicative. No mention of or apology for noise from building site next door which wakes everyone up at 07.30 sharp each day and prevents use of breakfast terrace
Location - short walks to station and to Arena. Friendly reception staff.
Single room cramped. Currently noisy on Monday morning due to workmen in building next door. Verona is much more expensive than other cities - e.g. Padova.
Some noise from adjoining building site during the day.
The very convenient location with respect to both the railway station and the Arena.
The bed was not altogether comfortable, the room contained only the bare necessities, and breakfast was quite dull.
Very clean and comfortable hotel, nice breakfast included, friendly staff. Good location, not far from train station and within easy walking distance to town centre.
budget one night stay 10 minutes walk from the central bus station-railroad station ( porta nuova ) from there connection to the airport ( aerobus -connection ).Walk to the city center ( arena ) 12 minutes
no airco in the room . Breakfast buffet is good but not exceptionally elaborate .
Very central for tourist, just minutes walk away from the main tourist attraction "Areana di Verona"
located near the center, satisfactory overall; staff helpful
Location - Away from the busy tourist areas and very quiet. About 10 minute walk to either the arena or train station. We got lost trying to find the hotel from the station but once we had better directions it was an easy walk.Outdoor court yard for breakfast was very pleasant. Room was spartan but serviceable - A/C worked well and was very much appreciated as the temperatures were 33 + during our stay. staff at reception were very helpful.
Would suggest opening the courtyard in the evening - it would be nice to sit there and have a drink.
A stay at Hotel Siena places you in the heart of Verona, within a 15-minute walk of Verona Arena and Porta Nuova. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk.
