The location was very peaceful; the rooms were large and comfortable; the owners were very hospitable.
The bathrooms could be modernised and upgraded.

Hildesheim is a hidden gem of a place. The location, while a little off the beaten track, is superb, the views are spectacular.We stayed in one of the garden rooms and it was spotlessly clean, luxuriously fitted out, and beautifully comfortable. We arrived a little later than expected and were caught out by the fact that it was quite a distance from the nearest eating places. Our hosts were most helpful and we ended up eating on our patio under a beautiful african sky with a tray of goodies provided by them. There is a superb pool for guests, and the nearby village of Hoekwil has a small shop with the basics available. Overall this was superb value for money.
Television reception was poor, presumably due to the location, but who needs tv when the views provided by the setting are this good

The hosts were warm and caring, the breakfast was divine and the whole experience was very relaxing. The perfect stop over after a long drive.

The cottage and staff were excellent. Perfect for our adventure holiday. Great location and beautiful and tranquil scenery.
No complaints perfect for what we needed.
