Pretty dated, breakfast was muffin and yogurt in a bag. Served its purpose as a bed but that’s about it. Old and run down.
Excellent location. Great pool. Awesome staff.
Friendly knowledgeable front desk staff, clean roms, great location, indoor pool and free parking.
Bathroom was old and indoor pool was cold.
Not worth $137, barely worth $58
Nice to have an indoor pool and sauna if a bit outdated and dark. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a bar/grill on the first floor but never tried it. Menu didn't look that appealing. Internet worked well.
Room needed an update desperately. Was not too clean either. The double bed became a taco with 2 people in it and was not comfortable at all. The air conditioner was so loud it was super obnoxious, and the heater had a bunch of gunk in it. Really small TV too. Got a deal for $58 a night down from $137 but it wasn't even worth the $58. We stayed at the Econolodge up the road for 3 days prior for less money and the room was much nicer, larger, larger tv, cleaner, and included a continental breakfast. Skip this place and stay at the Econolodge.
Value for the location
Not far from downtown, the bed was comfortable and linens very clean. The curtains & comforter were newer. Th pool & dry-heat spa were clean. For the money, it was a decent place to stay.
The HVAC fan in the hallway (end of the 3rd floor) was not working correctly. When everything else got quiet, the odd vibration was annoying.
the staff were friendly
the room could have had better lighting ie: better and more lamps
The price of the hotel was not even close to the price advertised on line!
The location was in close driving proximity to downtown Victoria and restaurants. Also the pool was a hit for my young niece. Of course the price was good as well.
The peeling wallpaper in the bathroom should be fixed. Also the breakfast offered could have a little more variety.
Rooms were spacious and adequate for our purpose
Rooms initially hot and aircon noisy. A little tired and in need of makeover
Very conveniently located to everywhere we wanted to visit.
It was difficult to exit onto the street to turn left which was a double solid line..
The hotel was very nice and served its purpose for a place to sleep and shower. The a/c unit was about 50 years old and useless but the hotel staff provided a fan. Cleaning staff need to work harder as I moved the TV to the dresser to see it better then the low stand it was on and the tv stand was flithy as has not been cleaned in yrs. The coffee maker wasn't clean either as it still had the last guest's filter in the maker rendering it useless to me.
The Hotel was very clean. It was quiet and the room was very comfortable. The value was great.
We were just in Victoria to visit my daughter, so we just needed a place to sleep. Not much time was spent there, but it was all we needed.
reasonably convenient and quiet
room was very warm in spite of cool weather .. heat was not on and we had the window open most of the time
large rooms, average cleanliness, easy parking, 2 miles from downtown Victoria, good breakfast restaurant
somewhat old and dated, stained carpet
