Everything was good
I think everything was great
Good price, clean rooms, good location in York, ba
One of the desk clerks (in the morning) was extremely rude to a member of our party, putting her through the third degree over a nonworking key. His tone of voice was abusive and he virtually refused to replace the key until absolutely compelled to do so. He spoke to my friend as though she were a streetwalker.
for God sake
Service housekeeping is a mess front desk treat you like criminal
I liked that they recently remodeled this hotel due to a past fire and the rooms are spacious with newer beds. I also liked very much that they had a microwave and fridge in the room. Room was fairly clean.
The biggest problem with this hotel is checking in. The very first day's there was a younger man that did a great job but now, in the front desk there is an older man that would check people in around night time and he would literally take 30 minutes minimum to check people in. If there was someone in front of you, then you would have to wait about an hour! He also didn't know how to find reservations and almost charged another customer's card under my rooms! He can barely read the computer screen that's why he takes for ever. That man is disaster and doesn't know what he is doing and if the owner doesn't get proper personnel he will loose a lot of business, like me that I stayed there several times and I'm always in need of a place because I work in York, but I'm not sure if I want to return and go through a 30 min hassle of check in after a very tiring work day. Even new potential customers have walked in to inquire about a room and they just leave.
