Poor moteL as like poor country cheap motel. No parking lot. No oganized frontdesk & staff. Even no shampoo
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York & I was looking for something nice to do while I was on sick leave & Playland was perfect. Everything is so central plus the room is fun & different plus CLEAN! Staff are laid back & sweet! It was a nice getaway from city life to a laid back Hamptons/ Williamsburg vibe :)
The food was my only complaint. The appetizers were okay, but it was like a 5 year old created the menu & cooked the food... Flavor & ingredient wise. Presentation of the food was perfect but tasted horribly. Don't order the jerk chicken - & also the choice of cups was also sized for children instead of adults but I saw out in the patio.
Tried contacting them to add a day to my stay, nobody ever replied to my email. (Email which they requested me to send when I called)
It was cheap and close to the subway stop. The rooms were interesting. We got there too late for the beach party but the area has a very hipster vibe to it. It's close to the beach.
The bathrooms are not in the room. There are no TV's, but that's not a big issue for me.
Take in the views from a terrace and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless Internet access.
