The stuff. No eye contact or greeting when passed through the front desk. When checked out, a man just left to back office with his food without sayin nothing.

There was no one at the reception desk, deserted lobby I wanted 15 minutes before someone appeared. He apologized and said that the staff was meeting about a problem the day before — something about a fire it potential fire.
After a translator flight, I was tired and disappointed in Hyatt Place. Guests should not arrive to find no staff and only excuses. The “staff meeting†was outside the elevators, no one seemed to be concerned that the reception desk was unmann
Too few paring spot. Breakfast only has a bun, a bar, an orange, and a coffee.
Room was clean with nice bedding. Simple and modern decor.
No breakfast, not even a bag of prepared snacks, available. No room service for multiple day stays unless you count trash pickup if you leave your trash can outside of your door.
The room - modern, new and quiet. Very comfortable bed
Staff member was extremely rude to me, I was feeding my 3-year-old son and I was told I can't feed my son in the lobby, then the next day, my son was playing in the lobby and she tells me control your kid.

Great location. Nice, new and large rooms. Very quiet even though major highway was nearby. Good breakfast buffet.
Extremely clean hotel and room. A sign of a spotless hotel are the bathrooms, and this was pristine. Roomy interior, compared to other hotels in NYC. Sure, boutique hotels may be cheaper, but you can not understate the quality of the Hyatt brand.
Stay at the newest hotel in Long Island City NY. Located approximately 3 miles from Times Square with easy access to numerous subway lines to all major attractions in New York City.
