Felt like home away from home. Great location to food, shopping, and the beach. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon.
Lady at the desk was nice but after I had a noise problem that evening, she was not helpful at all. Trying to tell me that I called the wrong emergency number. The place was filthy dirty and we got a whopping $20 credit for that, so we then moved out.
The next-door‘s TV was blaring from 9 PM to midnight. With no one in the office there was two numbers to call for emergency, one was the voicemail and two was a plumber that had no one to call. The worst experience ever plus the place was filthy dir
Nice place. They are upgrading it. It was a nice stay.
Not much of a veiw but the beach was just a short walk behind the hotel.
My room was I little bit noisy.
Owners are very nice and accommodating. Hotel is close to beach and restaurants all within walking distance.
Hotel is a older hotel so the bathroom is not that perfect such as the tile and the way its set up. Also wished the pool was able to be used after sundown like in some locations.
I liked the old charm of the motel the price and the management.
Bathrooms need updated
Castle by the Sea is a low key mom & pop shop. It is exceptionally clean and has fantastic management. They gave me great recommendations for food and for getting around. Just as advertised, it is a very QUICK walk to the beach and restaurants.
Great hotel. Room recently remodeled, w/ Ikea furnishings, New A/C units (very quiet, canNOT hear them at all). Room felt very clean. Property manager, very friendly, proud to show you to your room. Would stay again & definitely recommend.
With a stay at Castle by the Sea, you'll be centrally located in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, a 2-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale Beach and 8 minutes from Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Limited parking is available onsite.
