Good to go for the night with a date and ask for the rooms that overlook the city side. View is amazing
Great location and comfort
The coffee shop in the lobby is perfect. Great food a drop pricey for a hotel/breakfast. All parking is valet- it is nice but at times need to que for car. Gym is ok small
Gym small. Valet is time consuming. Breakfast not included
Comfortable, good customer service
Customer service overall was great. One person in particular went above and beyond to help me with staying in the same room all three nights. Thumbs up that parking is included in the price.
My back hurt sleeping on the bed. That said, my back hurts on almost all beds; I have a hybrid at home. I don't like that you can't get the same rate for each night of a multiple-night stay. While the location is one/half mile from my cousins, I don't like being that close to the highway. I would, however, stay there again.
Dont expect too much
great mattress in the room
noisy from the 405, very small room, barely any towels in the room, elevator not working, had to use stairs; you would expect something different at $300/night. No mini bar in room, just an empty fridge. It's out of the way to catch a 7-11 or something also, so you just have to remain thirsty or drink tap water (which I did!)
I have some mixed feelings about my stay at Hotel Angeleno. It seemed like every good thing was followed by a "but." I picked up this hotel with an insane "90% off" sale on Expedia, so after taxes I was paying $50/night. They included valet parking for me, but my friend drove up to stay with me for a night and they wanted to charge him $25/night for parking. I had emailed and asked for a room with two beds, but they were unable to accomodate me. They sent me an air mattress which ended up deflating instantly, and they replaced with another air mattress which also deflated, though not as quick. They also brought me a fridge since the fridge in the room was more a "cooler" (their words). There was some hella loud construction going on in the hotel, so I didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked. And that was on top of the noise you hear from the freeway, which sounds like you left a door open. Other than all of that, the room itself was great. Not huge, but nice amenities and a comfortable bed, plus a coffee maker and a decent shower. Staff were all pretty friendly.
I was forced due to death in the family to reduce my stay by one night. The hotel, & booking agency was not forgiving at all & had to pay for the night i was not there. Upsetting & costly to say the least.
Very convenient stay for a visit to Getty center.
Free parking and courtesy vehicle to locations in 3 miles radius
Not very conducive to walking around for a bite to eat.
Convenience to freeway & house - left for termite tenting.
Gym facilities very small.
clean, trendy, people eager to help
pillows too big. shower not hot enough. room service slow
Friendly staff & nice restaurant & bar on top floor. Easy access to all LA areas.
Very noisy. Just a few yards separates the building from the freeway. The staff suggested we keep the AC on to drown out the traffic noise. It was clean enough but I wouldn't call it a deal & overall nothing to write home about. Very car dependent. No restaraunts within walking distance except for the nice/expensive one in the hotel. I'll try another hotel on my next LA staycation.
great place to be.
the location and the design of the pettit hotel, so nice!!
Like the friendly staff from the front desk
It was not service at the pool And the service at the bar on the 17th floor
big enough room and modern/clean renovations
no free bottle water!!
Quality of the rooms and the staff was great and accommodating.
Clean, comfortable room; good restaurant; nice pool area; quality toiletries.
It seemed a little odd that at no point was I required to sign a bill, or verify my accommodations.
The location and the moutens around me and the staff was great
Nothing at all
Centrally located. Friendly staff.
Rooms too small. Had to ask for towels. Fireplace not lit by pool and it was a cold evening. Would have been nice.
We liked the fact that we had only booked for one night! We hated the place.
The staff was perfunctory, the room was very small, the towels were rags, the double beds were hardly fit for 2 people and the hotel seems to have been dropped between highways, with an intolerable amount of noise as a consequence.
1)my booking was not on their system and therfore the normal confusion about rates etc when i checked out inspite of me giving them the original booking.com confirmation 2)parking charge extra for cars bu then i believe this is the norm 3) rates did seem high for the location even though it is a botique hotel
The rooms are noisy because there is a highway in front of the hotel and our room was not insulated enough from the noise. The hotel is too far from downtown and other touristic locations.
View from the bar on the top floor
