Very poor quality Hotel t not recommended ** Hotel
Very poor quality service Hotel location service staff not recommended place
Definitelly not a 4**** Hotel !! Lack of cleanliness of the room, pre-historic TV, no hair-dryer, no frigobar in the room...
It is a functional place that delivers, but just delivers... no luxuries to be expected.
It is a four star hotel by the late 1970s criteria. It may have all the amenities, but they are old, crude and some of them rathe creepy.
The hotel is quiet, window insulation was quite good.
The breakfast is horrible, few options with bad quality food. The location is not good, you need car for absolutely everything. This hotel is not at all compatible with a 4-star. Luckely the price I've paid was also not for a 4-star (55 euros/night in a twin room), or else I would feel cheated.
Hotel was under repair which made a less good appearance. Facilities were not correspondent to a 4 star hotel
Reception staff had lots of tips about what to do in Porto, like festivals, tours, museums and public transport. They were very friendly, and spoke proper English. Ask them for great tips! Busstop directly to the city centre. Slightly longer walk to a busstop directly to the beach. Supermarket + shops within 100m from the hotel. Gym, pool, sauna and turkish bath were not busy. The gym was fairly basic though.
Swimming pool was being renovated for 3 of our 14 days. The rest of the time it was open. Pool and restaurant staff don't speak English (but are extremely friendly, and try to communicate when you ask them questions. Not a problem really. The restaurant is often fully booked (twice) on Sundays (only), when neighbouring restaurants are closed. Go downtown for dinner! Food was ok, but not that great compared to most other restaurants.
the hotel is not in Centre as stated on the information provided
It isnota 4* Hotel the hot breakfast was never hot
Swimming pool and quiet location. Not too far to walk from the metro station as bus service from outside at certain times was not all that frequent into the centre.
The swimming pool area was a bit dated. No showers or toilets in the changing rooms.
the restaurant. food was very poor
