Dated---but it sufficed
I felt like I flashbacked into the 90's...but it was ok. Super friendly service!
Garbage left in bathroom can from last visitors.
old but clean and friendly
Sure it's seen better days but it was clean and staff were very accommodating and professional. They were, in a word, nice. And the elevator worked just fine.
Needs upgrade to keyless entry. Breakfast was generous but could use fewer packaged carbs, more fresh fruit.
The people working there were great!
The facilities were not great!
Stunned at my disappointment
The location was easy to get to things.
The Shilo inn all over the country is a respected chain and you can assume it will be decent. Very untrue with this run down and very outdated location. Although the staff was cordial, they obviously did not take pride in where they worked and didn't really care. The hotel was dark, dingy, had an elevator that was ancient and so slow to attempt going 2 floors that we took the stairs. Our room came with 2 mis matched "house keys" which ( along with the crow bar marks on the door jam ) did not make us feel safe. We immediately went out and bought Lysol to disinfect the room. We attempted to find another hotel and we were unable to find one for 2 days. Nevertheless we did not spend any time in the room for relation. This hotel needs a serious upgrade and a little attention to it! Won't ever stay in a Shilo inn again unless I physically see the place instead of going by their " VERY EMBELLISHED " photos. SERIOUSLY FRUSTRATED!!!
I don't own a delorean, but I did stay at a Shilo
Old, crappy hotel but it was clean. 1985 called, and it wants its curtains and tube tv back.
in dire need of an upgrade
Could use some better cleaning
It was quiet, the staff seemed helpful whenever needed, there are several restaurants walking distance as well as a coffee shop, not far from where we needed to go which was the eye Dr. Great price for a good location.
The bathroom needed a better cleaning; maybe spray some bleach on the mold on the walls and sweep the corners better as we found a clump of hair (not ours). Also, my baby found a loose screw on the ground rather quickly, which makes me believe the vacuuming could be better. Also, the curtain broke when I tried to pull it open.
Solo Traveler with pet rabbits - Good value hotel
A touch of old school, water glasses made of glass instead of crappy styrofoam cups was very nice. VERY clean sheets and towels Quiet even though you are just off of the highway Close to the best discount supermarket across the road. Lots of variety at breakfast
Dated and run down lobby and walls. Could use a paint job. Doors seemed a little flimsy and still used a solid metal key. Old TVs.
Clean and nice place, but.....
Great staff, very clean and comfortable and a very easy location.
The claim to have a spa, the steam room did work, the sauna worked, but the spa was broken, and locked out, and instead of fixing it, they just taped over the word spa on the sign. As a motorcycle rider, the spa was and that i could have mt small dog with me was the reason I chose this location, I was disappointed in that. Other then that, the place was great.
