I couldn't ask for a better location. It's literally located right across the street from Glasgow Central Station, so it's essentially in the heart of the city centre of Glasgow. The staff was also very nice and accomodating. I ran out of coffee and the front desk receptionist literally went back to the kitchen to get me more coffee packets. There were actually 2 staff members working teh front desk reception at different shiftf (one younger genetleman and one younger lady,) and they were both very friendly and informative with my inquiries about different destinations to see in Glasgow.
I don't really care about the fact the hotel room was average at best, because for the location and price it is well worth it. I didn't even care about the fact it could get very noisy all the way to 5 am on the weekends given its proximity to the nightclubs/pubs. My MAJOR issue with the hotel was the lack of heat at night. There's a radiator right by the bed that seemingly only works in the morning. At night time it's completely shut off which is a problem given the weather was usually around 0 degrees celcius (32 farenheit.) This is a major issue that they need to fix promptly and I'm just glad I didn't end up getting sick during my stay there. I would rate this hotel much higher if I didn't have this heating issue. Unfortunately I did, and it factors in heavily to my decision of rating it as just "okay." If they fixed their heating issues, I would have no problem with staying there again, but if not, I'd look elsewhere.
Great location next to the central station right in the centre of town.
Mould in the bathrooms, rooms need some TLC. TVs are poor quality and have some random channels
Considering the price, the facilities were not great and the room was fairly noisy (from the plant/deliveries at the back of the hotel).
Good points .Indian resturant was exellent , staff are cooperative & smily all time,
Very small unclean rooms .only few tv channels. Very poor internet ,Wi fi not working properly diconnecting frequently every 4- 5 min too slow download & opening pages .1st night I feel quake , but it was room shaking & vibrating with the passage of large vehicles like an earthquake .Very expensive compared to their limited service provided.>>I'm totally not recommending this hotel esp if u are using internet & need clean rooms .
The location of the hotel is fantastic.
They claim to offer wifi but there was no information regarding this in the room. In fact there was no information in the room whatsoever, no information regarding, breakfast times and costs or any other hotel services.
