Not a great place to stay. Tall building with no elevator. We had a tough time climbing the stairs with heavy luggage!
Stuff speaking my native language, breakfasts, cleanliness
At the door there was a notice: if you arrive after 9 P.M. receive the key in the restaurant at the corner. We arrived at 7 P.M. and we'd been waiting for 15 min, till I decided to apply for the key to the restaurant. Next day another perplexed was staying at the door and I was the person who said what to do, not the reception guys.
location, cleaningness of the room.Very good value for money.
Our friends were given much poorer room for the same rate. Quite unfair.
The hotel was perfect for 13 males ranging in age from 23 to 66 who were using it as a dropping off place for a trip to football.
Lighting in the hotel was not very good
Cheap hotel, good restaurants in the neighborhood.
Staff was not very friendly and the beds were of very low quality. Would not stay more than one night.
The hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful.
The kitchen facilites was inadequate. The room was only availiable with 3 single beds for a couple booking- no double beds. Location was within the red light district- however extremely close to the central train station.
The Hotel-Pension Elegia is one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Located in one of the cutest areas of Berlin (Charlottenburg), a couple of steps form the Savignyplatz subway station. It is a small cosy family run Hotel that serves you a fantastic breakfast in the room, rooms that are super clean and spacious. Definetely more than worth the price.
Excellent location on quiet side street, breakfast was convenient and plentiful, staff were helpful & friendly (though did not always speak English), bed/bedding very clean and comfortable.
No telephone access, other guests were very noisy, large groups of people traveling together monopolized shared bathroom facilities for hours at a time (as in all hostels), no staff present at night, English-speaking staff only sometimes present.
good staff €5 for access to internet for entire stay fairly good rooms for pension
reception closed at 2100 no telephones in rooms wireless did nt work on 1st floor properly due to damaged antenna VERY overpriced during excibition time
Not a centraly location, but S-bahn station is only few steps away. Breakfast was nice and enough.
They didn't give two keys for each of us. Therefore one of us needed to be back at hotel before 21.00 of reception closure when we went to different places.
With a stay at Hotel Pension Elegia am Kurfürstendamm, you'll be centrally located in Berlin, just a 3-minute walk from Kurfürstendamm and 13 minutes by foot from Theatre of the West. Featured amenities include multilingual staff and luggage storage. Limited parking is available onsite.
