The hotel has a good location. It is very close to the Yamamote-line which you will use most of the time for your stay in Tokyo. The area has also some good value Japanese restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and did what I expected. They don't speak very well English, but that is not a problem. The hotel had regular size rooms for Tokyo (which are quite small), but were big enough for me. The hotel design is in such a way that your room door faces the street. I stayed at the 7th floor and did not have any problems with street noices.
Nice, friendly staff and location was excellent. Many shops around and close to the station.
Yes the single room was extremely small. There was absolutely no space even to keep the suitcase. I had to jump over the suitcase each time and there was no coffee make or hot water flask in the room which is essential i think.
