Kind Staff but facilities need improvement
The staff was very kind and welcoming. English friendly.
The room smelled like smoke and mold even though we reserved a non smoking room. The paint in our room was severally yellowed by smoke and in general the hotel could used a deep clean and new paint job.
The fridge in my room and free wifi.
Nothing bad about this hotel but make sure you show up with cash as they will not take a card payment! So I had a 10 minuet lecture from the owner for not having cash on arrival!
It was very quite neighborhood.
The rooms are very small, but in Tokyo I guess this a regular size!
The hotel staffs were nice and kind. But They were not good at English.
The room was sooooooooo small and bathroom was only on the first floor. Little bit far from Subway Station. You can find better hotels on the street when you walk to the this hotel from subway station.
The staff doesn't speak a word in english, but they're friendly and you'll find a way to communicate, as we did. Hot tea machine at my floor, cold water machine at ground floor. Showers at ground floor. Every room has conditioned air, tv, and fridge. Tatami and futon (and yukata!) in the rooms. The rooms are little, but there's everything you need for a backpacker holiday.
With a stay at Asakusa Fukudaya in Tokyo (Taito), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Asakusa Shrine and Kaminarimon. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and laundry facilities.
