Overall sn ok hotel.
5 minute walk to train.
Elevator too small, can barely fit 2 people
Really nice, large, modern, stylish room with good facilities (nice size desk with landline, wi-fi, decent hairdrier, safety deposit box, as well as the little things like shower gel/shampoo, shoe polish kit and sewing kit etc.
Shower position was such that you could stand under it (it was over the sloped end of the bath) and water went all over the (very slippy tiled) floor. It's quite well hidden. Also, the Japanese restaurant on the ground floor has late night kareoke - glad we weren't on the 1st floor!
The room was really large, the breakfast was great only the bathroom was a little small but very clean! We would definitly book this hotel again!
Hotel staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast was great.
Well located, close to city center. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet.
Reception area was not enough clean. Not enough towels into the room: only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel, even we were 2 guests.
did not stay in main hotel but in an apartment located a distance away very noisy
Noise of other guests who was talking on the floor at mid night...
The room design and features. Overall the hotel was nicely presented. Didnt make it to breakfast so no comments on that topic.
It was very difficult to locate. Also, no power outlets on the work desk was ridiculous! How was I meant to run my laptop?
Very unfriendly staff. The hotel manager was the most unhelpfull person i never meet. I do not recommend this hotel to anybody.. there are in the same street other hotels
My room was very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. I had read a couple of reviews about the rooms being small but in comparison to other European cities I have stayed in I found my room to be more than adequate. Especially for the price. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The receptionist recommended a traditional German pub a two minute walk, around the corner from the hotel, where we ate delicious food and drank German beer. When we had seen enough in Dusseldorf, we caught the train (again only a five minute walk from the hotel) to Koln and had a good day out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very pleased with my stay there.
Friendly reception staff, excellent breakfast
Lift was tiny, we had an 8 month old baby in a pram and only one person could fit in the lift with the pram. Room was stark (white walls and dark furniture) and not as arty as I expected.
With a stay at BURNS Art Hotel in Düsseldorf (Stadtmitte), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Konigsallee and 7 minutes from Rhine Promenade. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
