splendid nothing

this hotel is not as many others. Most of the walls in the lobby, restaurant and room are filled with books! I stayed in the penthouse and the room was clean and very comfy. the bed was perfect! The room had a window door but no balcony. Restaurant was awsome!

the shower should be renewed as it looked not even safe to move about making it very likely to trip over the rung. the main door needed your room card to open which makes it stressful when you have friends coming over. the light of the hall was too much bright!

I was asked to pay 300 SEK when I asked if we could check in 3 hours early (at 12pm) and was asked to pay another 300SEK when I asked to stay an extra hour at check-out. At least, out of courtesy, having paid 300 SEK for an early check-in, they could have waived the 300SEK at check out - considering all I needed was an hour. I find this approach rigid and unfriendly. No fridge.

Very small room

Great location and have used hotel before visiting family locally. Breakfast good, lots of choice.

This time our room was so tiny that we had to live out of the suitcase. A small hanging rail provided but no drawer space, really designed for one person on business rather than a city break. Will probably use another hotel next visit or check room we are booking!!!

Great location and design -...

Location is excellent close to the metro, Östermalmshallen and many restaurants. The hotel itself is nicely designed with well-furnished and clean rooms. Breakfast is good although less varied than it just to be, possibly due to COVID-19 restrictions. Check-in and check-out very efficient.

It beats my how a hotel of Mornington's standard and attention to detail cannot serve proper coffee. Only brewed and weak coffee is served for breakfast and when ordering a capuccino (at a hefty price) it didn't look or taste much different.

Except for that the aircondition...

Perfect location - quit but close to city centre and Djurgården.

The air condition could not fully handle 30 degrees (Celsius) outside so it was a bit to hot.

The hotel has a perfect location, breakfast was delicious, our room was small but cosy and you can choose from hundreds of books to read

Our room was a bit dark and the terrace in front of our window a bit loud in the mornings

Location is great. Room is ok, bed is comfortable.

Bathroom is definitely not 4*** with small shower. Lack of minibar fridge in the room. !!!No parking space! You need to find parking on the street on your own risk, not always close to the hotel.

I tok superior room, it's not 4* hotel room, it's more 3*. It was ok, but as I said, not 4* hotel.

the bed was super comfy and the staff were super friendly. the hotel was in a great location

the room wasn’t as modern as i thought it was going to be, sometimes you could really hear guests in other rooms and working out where to check in was a bit weird

friendly staff, proximity to subway, 15 min walk to center. Nice lobby. Live performance in the lobby at night. Got room upgrade upon first request. Very good breakfast. Clean.

Design uses a lot of old books. And those gather dust. Which can cause allergy. My son suffers from asthma, it made him sneeze and sleep badly. There is no ventilation in the room, so the window must be opened. Small kettle which is not enough for 2 large cups of tea(provided by the hotel). During the boiling, the

Clean and quiet room. Pleasant staff. Good location in nice part of town. Comfortable bed. Nice clubstyle loungearea at Friday evening for those who enjoy.

No floor heating in the bathrooom, combined with a shower (curtain) that gets most of the floor wet.

Beds were old ones and mattresses were wining every time you moved - if you are looking for comfortable beds I would not recommend this Hotel. Also the towels were really old ones - one could describe them not fluffy and not big

Nice and clean room

Unfortunately, we had a room container side, from 5h30 in the morning trucks on and off to empty them with a lot of noise (broken glass) and this every morning!!!

Really nice bar area, good breakfast. excellent location. Rooms comfortable and functionable . Staff were helpful.

Rooms lacked something

Comfortable, very quiet rooms, very nicely decorated with a personal touch. Very good breakfast with a big buffet. Good coffee. Tea pots available for tea drinkers and quality loose tea of three kinds available to choose from (Earl Grey, green tea and rooibos), which is not so common otherwise. Well done, Mornington! Excellent location in a very 'good' neighbourhood, near metro station Östermalmstorg - very convenient. 10 minutes walking distance to downtown shopping (like "NK", etc.) and the business area. Easy to get to from Arlanda Express and Central Station/T-Centralen metro hub. Very cosy and nice lobby and restaurant atmosphere. I didn't eat at the restaurant other than for breakfast, but I did have a drink with a friend and we enjoyed the selection of wines available.

The shower is small-ish and unfortunately the water splatters over much of the bathroom floor, which is a bit of a nuisance. The towels are perhaps somewhat on the thin side and feel a little bit "cheap". But since they are generously exchanged every day, this is not a big deal.

Great gym facility! Tasty hotel breakfast. Very friendly people, easy to accommodate with.

Lovely looking and designed hotel - the lobby area is great. Books everywhere which makes it look very cosy. Rooms are a bit small but have everything you need. Great quiet location - a bit out of the city centre/old town so a bit of a short walk but it was actually quite nice to be out of the main area.

The hot part of the breakfast was cold - it would be better if you used the hot plates to have it out

If you are a Bibliophile you will enjoy staying in this Hotel.In the Lobby there are whole rows of interesting books to flick through.Staff were professional,courteous and very approachable.There was enough space for you to sit and relax,study or work on your laptop around the Hotel Lobby. The Hotel is very central and within walking distance of two supermarkets and a converted food market/eatery. There are a few Restaurants in the area that cater for all pockets. The room had a Swedish furniture touch that made it feel less like a boring standard Hotel.I found my room very quiet which we needed.Breakfast at the Hotel was more than ample.

The room is aesthetically designed for a traveller with a small suitcase.This did not bother me too much.

No complaints. However, had mentioned during booking it was a special wedding anniversary celebration and it went by completely unnoticed.

Not really a complaint just personal Restaurants and lobby was well decorated but rooms seemed a bit dated and a bit small.

Rooms: Superior room: Super tiny, hardly any room to open your suitcase on the floor. Stayed on first floor. Window can be opened (good push required). Room rather dark even when lights are on, but considering whole hotel interior/design, this is intentional. Clean and stylish room/hotel and not sterile. We could not turn of the heater, but temperature was just fine. Breakfast: we had breakfast 3 times. all in all good. only few fruits but 3 smoothies, good filtered coffee, tea selection is limited (no herbal tea, but I believe it can be ordered), sweet pancakes, no chocolate spread but plenty of gluten-free products, scrubled eggs very liquid. It gets crowded around 9ish. Gym(health club): fantastic! provides sports gear (m/w) small towels and drinking bottles, tea and coffee. Plenty of room and very well equipped. Shower facilities are good with towels and shampoo and all. Sauna: wasn't turned on when I got there at 10:15 in the morning called the reception, 30 minutes later is was hot. Men and women are separate. Men sauna has room for 4 to 7 people. Staff: Welcoming and friendly, tea while waiting for early check-in (300SEK) was complementary. I would stay there again, but not with kids.

Our room was stylishly decorated and modern. Bed was extremely comfortable and shower was nice and powerful. Breakfast at the hotel was really exceptional, probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! Hotel was located in a slightly quieter area of the city, but plenty of things were within walking distance.

Room was very small, especially considering we had upgraded to a premium room. The wet room's design was not very practical - the shower curtain wasn't big enough to stop water going absolutely everywhere when you showered! The side of the hotel our room was on looked straight into another apartment block.
