I loved the spacious room and very comfy bed. The parking was also very convenient. I wish I had time to stay longer so I could have enjoyed the great location more.
The private parking garage and the close proximity to High Streets entertainment.
Bar was not open until our last day in the hotel.
Very comfortable with contemporary flair. Room size was very spacious. Very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. Close in proximity to many restaurants and nightlife.
Wonderful stay, but budget time to go get breakfa
The staff were simply amazing, friendly, efficient, everything you could ask for. Rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the big stand-alone shower.
Pod coffee machines by the elevators were ok, but the "continental breakfast" was pre-packaged pastries and awful. Get a cup of coffee and go somewhere for breakfast.
Well on the way to being an excellent boutique hot
the creature comforts were excellent. It has an artsy interior that made me feel quite comfortable. The location is great and near many Morgantown eateries and bars. Just overall a good feel of the place -- room and lobby. Complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc. seemed to be top notch.
A few things could improve this hotel: 1. plusher towels -- a boutique/spa hotel should have thicker towels. 2. breakfast was rather sparse and not very healthy. Fresh pastries (rather than wrapped in plastic), fruit juices and oatmeal would be good improvements. 3. an extra lock on the door would be nice. Most hotels have a chain or similar secondary lock which can only be accessed from inside the room.
Website does not reflect the hotel as it is, poor
Not much frankly. The website is great, looks like a high quality boutique hotel, but it's nothing close. I really wanted to feel it was a good place because my daughter is heading there to WVU for college, this year. But the hotel and immediate area gave me the feeling I was in a gang neighborhood. Fortunately the rest of Morgantown is nicer closer to the college and the waterfront.
The hotel was dark and gloomy, and seemed dirty, as we're the rooms. It appears newer and modern in the website but it's very dated. There was no room service, staff at the front desk were droll and not friendly or very helpful. Above all we were looking forward to the rooftop bar and pool based on the website luxury presentation of cabanas and umbrellas. Well when we went up the music was xxx rated rap, the crowd looked like under age kids from local gangs and there was a distinct smell of Marijuana always present. We left and went back later thinking it was just a group that just happened by but same crowd was still there. The garage is very dimly lit and shady characters hung out smoking there. I didn't even feel comfortable leaving my carea there, and escorted my girlfriend everywhere she went for fear of issues. The other bar associated with the hotel looks like a biker bar, with shady characters always smoking by the door, which was also the area where you park to unload your luggage. Then it was closed on Sunday when we wanted most to swim (presuming the gangstas had left). The bar staff were friendly but the entire facility, hotel and bars was a shock and frankly gave a serious concern for safety.
Great deal great location for the money
Clean, location, rooftop bar
Everything except the breakfast
The very non existent breakfast
Parking Garage Boutique feel with luxurious touches Rooftop hot tubs, bar, and seating...very cool! Probably excellent in the summer. Most staff very helpful.
Dark Parking Garage No in-room coffee or any available until 6:30 Staff member who told me (at 5:30) to come back at 6:30 for coffee Poor continental breakfast...ditch it.
