Food. Spa. Friendliness of staff.
attenzione alla reception, il ristorante, la gentilezza del personale, pulizia.
la camera comfort piccola, il centro benessere non è di livello.
An excellent family run hotel offering, excellent food, service and facilities, the spa is a great place to unwind after a days walking in the local mountains.
The quiet yet convenient location and the spa facilities
We were overcharged 10 euros on the quoted price plus 25 euros for using the in-room safe
My son & I stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the service friendly and professional and the room and balcony overlooking the garden and mountains was slightly small but very clean and comfortable and had everything you could require. The Wellness area exceeded our expectations. Public areas were welcoming with afternoon tea with cake or fruit salad. Lovely quiet position with a short walk into the town and lifts.
This is a lovely friendly little family-run hotel located near the edge of town and the national forest, but just a short walk to the center of town and the ski lifts. The food was fantastic, and the spa/wellness area is just beautiful--the photos on their website don't do it justice. It includes many extras, like a waterfall and a fountain. We had the standard room with French bed. It was very small, with a small double bed (sometimes referred to 1 1/2 bed), but it was immaculate and well laid-out, had a good-sized bath with full tub, and a large balcony. The bed was adaquate for us and lacked the center crack you usually find in larger European beds, but tall people or those with a lot of luggage might want to upgrade.
A municipal complex is slated to be built next door, so you might want to check before booking to see if construction has begun (maybe 2010?). Summer is construction season and many restaurants and whatnot are closed, but they fed us so well with half-board (breakfast and dinner) that we had no appetite for lunch anyway. The town is very densely-built, with many one-way and blocked streets in the center, so driving there was a bit of a challenge. The local roads are very narrow and twisty, so taking the bus from Trento might be a safer option in winter!
With a stay at Hotel Gianna in Madonna di Campiglio, you'll be next to a golf course, steps from Skirama Dolomiti Adamello Brenta and a 3-minute drive from Madonna di Campiglio Ski Area. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge.
