The staff was polite and helpful
Overall I couldn't say to much bad about it seeing it was a 3 star
Stuff is kind and helpfull Breakfast was good and rich Rooms spacious Bed comfortable Location is handy to the beach as to airport
Not enough furniture in big rooms
Really not many, close to the Makenzy beach, nice view from the room we had, you would only get that view from 10 rooms in the whole hotel, otherwise it's the side of another building. Housekeeping was very good in the mornings, nightporters friendly and cheerful.
Everything and I mean everything was done as cheaply as possible. On arrival I was asked to pay for our room in advance. The rooms dispite having been " recently renovated in 2007" were pretty shabby, ie: burns from an iron on the carpet, rusty and broken shower and tap fittings, stained bedclothes, balcony that flooded when it rained (which probably explained why the room smelt like a wetdog!). No tea, coffee or even drinking water facilities in the room. No tea or coffee at breakfast, we had to ask the staff to provided some everyday.Orange juice at breakfast was orange squash and on one occasion had not been diluted (a lot of sour faced customers on that morning). Cooked breakfast was cold everyday no matter what time you went down. Toaster that jammed and burnt the toast every single time for every customer. Continental breakfast wasn't bad, but it was cheap. The hotel is having work done at the moment it would of been nice to have been warned, arriving on a building site was not expected!
I had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friend or colleagues. A tourist hotel with a friendly warm atmosphere.
I would have like more variety in the hot breakfast servings.
I liked te bitch
We found the hotel very clean, comfortable. It was an excellent value,
The food was not of high quality - and far too much pork on every menu - we couldn't eat there at all other than breakfast.
Close to the airport
Dinner was not warm
nothing special but okay for one night
From the reservation process (we needed some documentation for visas), the actual booking process to checking into hotel was effortless. The hotel is a few minutes drive from the airport, and we mainly used the hotel on the nights we before and after our flights home. The staff was friendly, the hotel looks as if it has recently been upgraded and the rooms were more than adequate and the bathrooms standard with everything needed. The beds were incredible and it felt as if I could sleep forever, but had to get up to sample the great breakfast. Flamingo Beach Hotel is also situated on the best swimming beach in Larnaca and with some incredible ice cream shops down the road.
I would love if Cyprus upgrade their sewage system.
It was very cheap, 49 euros per night for a double room, but for the same money you can stay ay Leivadiotis which is much better.
Not renovated probably since it was built. Needs renovation.
Hotel needs general/complete/total overhaul of everything, hotel, rooms and staff, noisy because of aircrafts flying out of Larnaca
When you stay at Flamingo Beach Hotel in Larnaca, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Mackenzie Beach and 11 minutes by foot from Larnaca Salt Lake.
