The hotel was really clean, you can smell the chlorine while the rooms and the hotel are being cleaned. The staff is friendly and the hotel is walking distance from most touristic attractions. However, if if you want to avoid large crowds and loud tourists, do yourself a favor and pay the extra $$$ to stay at Coral or Lucerna. It doesn’t matter how clean and how amazing the staff is if you can hear every single thing other guests do from throwing up and crying to having an argument.
The walls in the hotel are paper thin! I mean it! So when people are talking it feels like they’re in your room and you can really hear other guests businesses. In our case, we were soundly asleep until a couple showed up very intoxicated to the room next to ours slamming their door and just speaking really loudly. We were able to hear the girl throw up, cry, and then argue with the guy right from our room. We turned the TV on to try to disguise the sound a little bit but it still didn’t help. Also, you can hear the people talking on the hallways!!
everything great accept noise. doors slamming. bad ecos
