帕爾馬城市飯店

Restored from an old country farmhouse, the Best Western Hotel Green City, Parma, Italy, sits in quiet greenery about four kilometres from the centre of Parma, close to Parma Airport (Giuseppe Verdi Airport) and the fairgrounds. The peaceful setting, gardens and modern comforts make an easy base, well linked to the main roads and the airport. It suits both business and a food-and-art tour of the city. A restaurant and free parking round out the quiet country stay, and hired bicycles make an easy, green way into the centre of town. Parma made its name on Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese and Prosciutto di Parma PDO ham, and rewards a visit with a domed Romanesque cathedral, a pink marble baptistery and the frescoed Teatro Farnese (Farnese Theatre), Teatro Regio di Parma keeping the flame of native son Verdi alive, and the rich food country of Emilia-Romagna rolling out around toward Modena. Castles and ham cellars dot the hills toward the Apennines. CIR code: 034027-AL-00034, CIN code: IT034027A1XY2IGXW7
