Not a real 24/24 reception
Great location, cheap, clean.
Coming back around 1AM, I found the door of the “24 open reception” closed and a notification saying the receptionist was upstairs tending to a “security matter” and would come back in 5 minutes. I waited. And waited. 20 minutes later some other patron showed up, and phoned the hotel (my phone was dead or I would have done the same way earlier.) This brought the guy back from wherever he was, definitively not doing anything security related. The rest of the experience was okay, but this is unacceptable.
Centrally located and good size rooms for a budget hotel.
Comfort, well received by staff, good breakfast.
within a walking distance from the North station
there was no hot water and the staff did not react to it or suggested a possible discount
Location and price
the hotel staff was great and the breakfast was excellent with good attention to detail and availability.
The elevator was a bit slow. But the stairs were fine.
Really liked the breakfast.
There was no air conditioning in the room. Did not realize there was no air. The room faced the major street and was very noisy.
Clean room, very nice breakfast, in walking distance to the center.
Rooms are clean, Gare du Nord is quite close (good when travelling from airport to Brussels via train)
Rooms are *really* small and you can hear pretty much everything through the walls, the breakfast is suboptimal (hard bread, too few places). Other hotels for the same price or cheaper (mostly without breakfast though) have nicer lobbies and are closer to the center.
good breakfast, central location
bathroom too small and crammed. Curtains on the window were too flimsy and allowed too much light from the street lamp outside
A stay at Queen Anne Hotel places you in the heart of Brussels, within a 15-minute walk of La Grand Place and Belgian Comic Strip Center. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff.
